Can this game still be flexed to a different kickoff time? If the AP bounces us into the T10 (however likely that is) I was thinking they might move the game to a late afternoon or evening kick. Little did I know that 5 teams ahead of UofL would lose during opening weekend making T10 more possible than I would have expected.

I just looked at the CFB TV schedule. Our game is not changing. Bama plays Ole Miss at 3:30, Sparty-ND at 7:30 and USC-Stan at 8:00. No one wants to go up against those matchups.

Why would I like to see it moved? For personal reasons: I live just far away that noon games are a PITA, but close enough that hotel costs don't make a lot of sense. I know a lot of people hate noon games b/c it restricts their tailgate drinking time, but some people have legitimate logistical concerns. Thankfully we don't have many kid activities to deal with on game days this season, just the travel time.

And I didn't want it taken off TV, just a later time slot. 3:30 would be perfect.

It is pretty clear from history that noon games are more lightly attended, probably due to kids' games. Right now, I know at least 10 people who will miss the game for that reason. Also, history has shown that night games have higher attendance AND the crowd is more into it for obvious reasons.

Bobby made a big big point, during the kickoff luncheon, to just get used to Noon kickoffs. Change your schedule. Change what you eat and drink.

If 10 people can't attend, my guess is that's 10 tickets that can be resold at a profit. Not that that's a primary motivator, but you're not losing any money if you can't go.

My group is tailgating lightly beforehand, saving our energy for the game, and having a humongous victory tailgate after it's over. That's gonna be one big-time Saturday afternoon party--they may have to kick us outta the parking lot!...

I would LOVE a later kickoff time but it is what it is, but David Pollack from ESPN College GameDay was asked on Twitter if they would come for the FSU/UL game and he said that he'd love to come, now if they actually will is another story.

College GameDay HAS went to a game that was a noon game before, OU/Texas. (forgot the year)

I'm thinking if we beat FSU it will be talked about all week. I prefer the 3:30 or 7PM games. Also, I don't believe our team is at their best at noon.

Right. I mean what's he supposed to say, "H*ll no I'm not coming there!!" lol. Of course he could just ignore the question. Let's see what happen if both UL and FSU take care of business this weekend.

Funny (sad?) story ... I have a relative who shall remain nameless who is a big UofL fan. He cannot attend because his wife has signed his young daughter up for a child's beauty contest the day of the FSU game.

He (sadly) gave me his tickets to sell. I asked a friend whether he wanted to buy them last week. The friend hadn't made up his mind about going until he saw Lamar Jackson's first half performance last Thursday. I got a text while at PJCS at 830pm saying he DEFINITELY wanted to buy the tickets from me.

Okay I am going to sound nine years old, but calling UK "Stoops Poops" instead of "Stoops Troops" is making me LOL.

Stories like that are the reason why I no longer have a wife!

I have been meaning to ask you this for years and am just now doing it. I assume you do a pushup routine. How many are you up to? I am decent at the running/lifting thing and a co-worker and I got into a pushup routine as part of our break every day to supplement our workouts. I got to where I could do 80 in a row and was thrilled with that! I've fallen off the wagon though, need to get back on.

I heard from an unreliable source that his name derives from the 'Pushup Bra' he wears with his drag queen outfit! I kid, I kid PUman. LoL.:p

Back in old Cardinal Stadium I used to sit right behind the goal posts in the enclosed end zone (near home plate), and I would do pushups on the concourse whenever we scored. The people in those sections would count them off for me, and everyone knew me as "The Pushup Man" back in those days - so that is why when I joined here that I chose that for my screen name.

I still do them, just at home now. I can still do 40 at one time - nothing exceptional, but not too bad for a 52 year old man...! Last night I finished the 385 I needed to do for all the points we scored last week!

I and only do 4 at a time myself these days. Not bad for a 63 year old man. I lose count after that. I'm up to 16 now with only 369 to go.Might be there by the time the season ends.
o_O:D Thanks for being a good sport PUM.

I don't do any anymore. Just say I do. :p

I've had four surgeries in my life, and three were from working out.

So my new goal is to be sick when I die. :D Staying healthy is killing me.
