From October 29th 2016 to October 13th 2018 we had a record of 6-18!
Since then we are 8-5...
.
Riley set the bar low. Frost lowered it. And then tonight was an embarrassment. How many wins left on the schedule? Before the season...with this schedule people would have laughed at the idea of going 6-6.
But yet....here we are.
I picked Minnesota to win last night, and I don't find road losses to any good team surprising. But if expecting NU not to get completely ****-stomped on both sides of the ball makes me a bad fan, I'll plead guilty.1. Minnesota has scored 30+ in 6 straight big 10 games....
2. Fans should have expected Minnesota to score 30 regardless of our quality of play
3. Nebraska has scored 8.5 ppg on offense against decent big 10 opponents
4. Fans should have expected us to struggle to score 30...most like score between 10 and 14...
5. We then had a backup qb, lost our best offensive weapon....
6. So an expected score would then be 30-7 ....we lost 34-7...
7. The outcome was expected by any knowledgeable fan...and fans with no knowledge need to GTFO and pursuit something else or learn more about the sport they love.
