Just looking at the newest Sagarin ratings, and Rutgers (26) and Iowa (31) are no longer in the top 25. What does this mean for the Cats?
Of all Division 1 teams that are undefeated against the current Sagarin top 25, only two teams have won more than one game against that group.
Arizona, who most are picking as a #2 seed, is 4-0.
Northwestern is even better, at 5-0 in such games! (Purdue is #5, Indiana is #16, Illinois is #17, and Michigan State is #25).
Teams with at least five wins against current Top 25 Sagarin teams:
#3 Kansas - 6-4
#30 Iowa State - 6-4
#35 Northwestern 5-0
#5 Purdue - 5-2
#13 Marquette - 5-3
#24 Kansas State - 5-3
#9 Texas - 5-4
#16 Indiana - 5-4
#11 Baylor - 5-6
So let's keep it going tonight!
