Funny ACC tournament seeding scenario

Because of the imbalanced schedules and how terrible most of the ACC is, the top of the ACC standings is actually very close, despite Duke clearly being the best team. Duke is 18-1, Clemson and Louisville are 17-2. Here's the best part: if Duke loses to UNC on Saturday, and Louisville and Clemson win their games, Duke would be the 3 seed in the ACC tournament, and be co-champions of the regular season with Clemson and Louisville. Maybe the biggest indictment of the ACC this season is the fact that Louisville and Clemson are both 17-2 and might win the conference.

I'm going to find myself in a weird scenario on Saturday rooting for UNC and Louisville...

If Duke were to lose Saturday high I don’t expect to happen that scenario is correct and with a Louisville and Clemson win. Louisville gets the 1 seed, then Clemson and Duke.

Im rooting for them too even though it will punch the Cheats ticket however I don't see them winning. This win streak they're on has been against really bad teams. 6 win Miami and a bunch of teams with losing records.

I certainly don’t think Clemson is bad, but they shouldn’t be winning a power conference title either. If they were in the SEC I think they’d be right around the UK/Miss St/Vandy tier, that is to say roughly .500

Jay Bilas is already on a personal crusade to get the Tar Heels a bid. Building them up like they’re a high seed based on their last 6 games.

This is the best indictment of the ACC. UL is going to finish 18-2 in the ACC. Their SEC record is 0-4 with losses at home to Tennessee by 22, Ole Miss by 23, neutral loss to Oklahoma by 5, and away loss to UK by 8.

UNC is not good. Even if Flagg woke up this morning with the flu unable to play, Duke would still be favored.

Just looked at ACC bracket, if they are the 1 they will most likely play a nobody then SMU. Who has zero Quad 1 wins and Clemson or Louisville for the title. At best they will have to play 1 ranked teams throughout LMFAO

It's interesting that both the ACC and Big Ten have 18 teams, but their tournament brackets only have 15 seeds. The bottom 3 teams in each conference do not qualify for the tourney.
