A furniture store in Kentucky is having a “Duke got the hell kicked out of them sale”. They are celebrating Duke not making the final four. Last time I checked, they are sitting and watching the rest of the tournament on their couches! Also, we didn’t get the crap beat out of us. We only lost by one point.

This is where my wife is from and I will tell you it's a hell hole, most not all of the people there are very odd and backwards.

Oh I know! Everything about that whole part of Kentucky is backwards! I only go there when I my job takes me there!

I think I've finally figured this out. The refs are just a patsy. They screw Kentucky over in every game that they've lost. However, the secret that not many people know is that it's the city officials in Lexington that pay the refs to make sure Kentucky doesn't win. Now that seems silly, right? Why would Lexington officials NOT want UK to win a championship? Because they know that if it happens the fanbase would nearly burn the city to the ground.

Not surprised at all. I was at a bar in Lexington one time while a UK game was on (they weren’t even playing Duke) and they were selling “I still hate Laettner” shirts.

Lol they are obsessed with us

I have visited Waynesville and that part of NC often. Physically beautiful. I love it . The people are nice and welcoming but they should refrain from having an IQ comparison with the residents of Hazard.

Completely off topic. But the thread title reminded me of this beauty.

My favorite line in that one is, "my wife's boyfriend broke my jaw with a fence post. If you don't buy a trailer from me, I don't care." Haha
