With the Final Four coming up I decided to do some research to see if I could find anywhere that had a list of future Final Four sites because I thought I remembered that they plan ahead years in advance for future Final Four sites and I found a link from CBS Sports. Between 2019 and 2021 the Final Four will be held in Minneapolis and Indianapolis. Not to look ahead too far but given our history in those two cities, I'm a bit intrigued at the possibility of history repeating itself in those two season.

On a side note, this was my 2400th post.

2020 in Atlanta, I always attend ATL FF's, easy to get around. Been to Indy for business, that downtown is perfect for hosting FF.

When Raiders stadium is built in Vegas, they will host FF's & Super Bowls regularly.

I was in Minneapolis for both 1992 and 2001. I'll be there again, whether Duke is playing or not, in two years.

I have a cousin that lives in Atlanta and if he happens to still be living there when the Final Four is there, I might seriously consider going because it would be fun to go to the Final Four even if Duke isn't in the Final Four.

Went to ATL in 2013 after we lost to L'ville in E8. Dave Matthews & Sting played Centenial Park then I ran into Laettner. Pretty good way to rebound from E8 loss.

Met Bill Self at 2007 FF one week after Kansas E8 loss, he was life of party. Loss didn;t seem to faze him.

That article predates HB2 and the moves from North Carolina, so unfortunately those listed early round sites aren't accurate.

Went to Atlanta myself. Enjoyed the Zac Brown Band. Such a great area for a host with Olympic Village on site

It's a lotto. Application with payment in advance with refund if you aren't selected. My advice is to buy as many packages as you can because you can sell with ease any spare packages for twice face value and attend for free.

Its basically all 3rd tier seating. If you make the purchase, you're not going to be seating first row at half court. So all the seating is the same, but yes they let you know the seats after the lottery.

Honestly best way to do it, and how I did it in 2010, is wait until Duke clinches FF4 berth then get on Indianapolis craigslist that night. I got 4 tickets at face value 10 rolls behind the goal. Actually bought them off of a UK fan. Heartbreak turns into stupid decisions.

Seems HB2 is being repealed & NC will host games again. Of course both sides are complaining. It amazes me these days how every race, religious group & community is persecuted. Even my neighbors who drink $9 coffees & take 5 vacations a year are "living in fear". Everyone needs to grow up.

Now get off my damn lawn!

I wish there were a way to get out of the football stadiums and back to an actual basketball venue. Impossible considering the money but it would be nice. They stopped having it in actual basketball venues in 1996.
