Hey everyone,
For those of you who may/may not know, my name is Tanner Lafever and I've been covering the men's/women's wrestling beat(s) here on the site since this past January.
During these past seven months or so, my engagement with the community on the site has almost exclusively been via the 'Iowa Swarm Lounge'.
While I honestly can't remember if that was intentional for any particular reason or not (I don't believe so), it has more or less been my standard operating procedure ever since.
I mention that because it was brought to my attention the other day that at least one of you (and who knows how many others) would appreciate if wrestling stories were also posted over here on the Wrestling Board/Forum - to which I can say that moving forward they absolutely will be.
Hopefully any of you to whom this may concern have been able to catch my regular stories as they've been published on the site homepage and/or news tab in the past. That said, I'll typically post a thread in the Swarm Lounge as a 'heads up' on any new content, which folks may have missed out on if they don't typically frequent that forum.
I've also had running threads going in the Swarm Lounge for big events in the past (NCAAs, World Team Trials, Olympics, etc.), and will look to either duplicate and/or link to those here in the Wrestling Forum in the future so that anyone interested in joining the conversation won't inadvertently miss out.
If anyone has other questions/concerns regarding this, or anything wrestling-related on the site feel free to leave a comment here - or you can always DM me if you'd prefer that route instead.
My apologies if my previous neglect of this wrestling-specific forum has made it more difficult for folks to follow the Hawkeyes here on Hawkeye Report, and thanks again for the feedback that brought this to my attention!
