FWIW, Brown & Joseph are not likely.

Based on tweets from John Hale of the CJ. Rowland is reporting the same regarding Joseph.

That may turn out to be true but I believe it was either Rowland or Loney said the WR coach position would likely come down to Spurrier Jr, Parker or Beard. I appreciate these guys going out on a limb and throwing out their predictions but they often say they have no idea and are only connecting the dots.

I don't think they're connecting the dots, I think in some cases they're guessing. Still, Rowland seems sure Brown/Joseph aren't being considered.

Stoops keeps his cards & his interviews close to the damn vest. just like the WR job, the DB job is going to someone who has gotten zero internet buzz here or on the twitter dot com. I like the theory out there that us offering Ansley's co-OC title can be attracting to some bigtime secondary coaches at other SEC or ACC schools where this would be a promotion.

of course the Gran thing was such a no brainer everyone latched on that being the OC hire

Seems like Jon Hale got himself a new source and is eager to flaunt it today on twitter.

Beard has been hired as a quality control assistant at UGA.

FWIW, Hale is also saying that Pimpleton is a no go. And giving somebody a Co-DC title is not likely.

I kind of wonder why Andy Buh didn't get the co-defensive coordinator title
Probably because he's only been here a year and Stoops knew that he could keep him with a raise and didn't have to give the title at this point. Buh is a very good coach though Stoops will have to fight to keep him over the next few years

Yeah, I figured that was it, and at that time it took the co title to try to keep
ansley, but we see how that worked out. I will be glad to hear when they announce our new DB coach and get the last remaining mystery of this post season over
