G.A. Mangus

South Carolina looks like it will be parting ways with several assistants when the new head coach is hired. I would like to see us pick up G.A. Mangus as our quarterback coach. He has been South Carolina's go-to recruiter for the past few years. He has ties all along the South and he also pulls in players from the mid-Atlantic (PA/NJ).

Currently, South Carolina has a commitment from Brandon McIlwain, a top dual-threat QB and baseball prospect. He will likely go with Mangus to another Power 5 program if he has the opportunity to play both sports.

Hell, lets hire Spurrier at OC. Stoops desperately needs an experienced coach on his staff and someone that can take over while he's busy embarrassing himself screaming at refs.

Stoops has lost the fanbase and proven he can't coach. He's got time to get it turned around because we simply can't afford to cut ties until after the '17 season, but he's going to have to do it with his hands tied behind his back. This is the staff, more or less he's gonna have to work with. No one worth their salt is coming here, no one with any prospects is gonna throw their lot in with this staff knowing it's almost certainly gonna end quickly and with a firing. The staff and Stoops is going to have to learn how to coach, manage a game and develop talent themselves.
