It's goat time! In your opinion what is the greatest movie scene you have ever seen? I'm only naming one but there are obviously lots to chose from.

My vote goes to the final scene in pulp fiction. Great movie and great scene!

Honor mention
A few good men-you can't handle the truth!
Gladiator- final scene

What is your favorite movie scene you can watch over and over?

American hustle is pretty good when Bradley cooper realizes he's being played. The usual suspects will be mentioned also.

Bank robbery scene in Heat comes to mind.

Last 5 minutes of The Usual Suspects has to be up there, too.

Gran Torino-Eastwood does an excellent job with the final scene. (A little known fact about that movie is when he saves the Asian girl from the 3 black dudes) he yells at the white guy and says shut up ***** these guys don't wanna be your bro and I don't blame them lol. That kid is actually Scott Eastwood the grandson of Clint.

I'm not going to go out on a limb and say whatever Tara Reid does in sharknado 3 will probably be GOAT of all time movie history.

I watched that again yesterday while waiting for the tourney games to start. I did a little shopping on my phone and exact replicas of that wallet are available on ebay and etsy. I will have one.

I'll go a little off the wall. I'll pick 2 kid movies. The flying monkeys taking off in the Wizard of Oz and the child catcher disguise scene in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Both scared the crap out of me as a kid and scared my children as well.

Final battle scene in "King Arthur" (2004) when Knights gave up their freedom to join in against the Saxons.

Honorable mention, final battle scene in "We were Soldiers".

The final gun battle in "The Wild Bunch". William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Ben Johnson and Warren Oates against 600 Mexican soldiers. Took a full week to film that 5 minute battle. It was bloody and it was awesome.

The beach landing scene from "Saving Private Ryan".

The 'I'm funny how?' scene from "Goodfellas"

The opening scene from "Patton" showing George C Scott address the troops.

*** to *** from Requiem for a Dream

A Serbian Film is packed with some of the most wonderful, heartfelt scenes in movie history. I highly recommend you gather the family together and make a movie night out of it. You're welcome in advance.

I'm disappointed in The Paddock today. I really am. It is this scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High and it's not even close. The Man Show even named it the greatest moment in cinematic history.

The scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey when the monkey learns how to use a tool and bashes the **** out of the leader of the rival group of monkeys who were like, trying to take their water spot or something.

The rival monkeys were like "what????" and totally never saw it coming lol. Ran away like pussies.

Evolution is the tits bro

The scene from The Bridge on the River Kwai where the Obi Wan Kenobi or whatever is sooooo intent on building this awesome bridge for the japs cuz, that's like the honorable thing to do or something even though it would be helping the enemy. Then at the end he's all ashamed that he tried to stop Willy Holden (lol) from blowin up the bridge and he finally throws his gut into the detonator of the bridge bombs. And then the bridge splodes.

Madness! Madness! It's March Madness! lol

The overdose scene of pulp fiction. So much going on. It's suspenseful, it's funny, it's infuriating, it's "f'ing trippy".

When tiny Liston throws the detonator off the boat in The Dark Knight. More of a great moment than scene, I guess.

When they sing the French national anthem in Casablanca, dovetailing into "your winnings sir."

The Bourne Ultimatum chase and fight scene in Tunisia. That is the most intense one on one hand to hand fight I think there is. Great music and you get the camera shot when goodwill hunting jumps from one building and crashes through the window of another.

That's one of my favorite scenes too.

Also,

-The bar scene in The Outlaw Josey Whales, where he asks the guy "Are yo a bounty hunter?" The man replies "A man's gotta make a living somehow." ....."DYING AIN'T MUCH OF A LIVIN, BOY" WOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

- The diner scene with Pacino and DeNiro in Heat
- Floyd from True Romance trying to give the mafia directions.

By far, the greatest scene of all time is from the movie From Justin To Kelly. Starring the winner and runner up from American Idol's first season, the film reached such an apex in cinematic perfection that the two stars would never work in film again, as there was nothing left to prove of their thespianic chops. The scene that stands out, among many, is the one in which it looks as though all is lost between the burgeoning couple's love. A scene which has driven people mad with depression and caused several movie goers to end their own lives prematurely before viewing the denouement of this masterpiece. I give you, From Justin To Kelly ...

Justin: To break us up, Kelly! Listen, if anybody's gonna be mad around here, it should be me. You've been hot and cold. First you're blowing me off, and then you're leaving me these messages.

Kelly: What messages?

Justin: That's exactly what I'm talking about. And you accuse me of being a player. Well, you're the one playing games, Kelly. You know what? Game over.

Game over indeed, Sir Guarini. Even still, I weep as I write those words from memory, despite knowing that love, and music, will eventually win out. If you have but fours hours left to live on this earth, I implore you to watch this film ... twice.

How about towards the end of "Scent of a Woman" when Frank stands up for Charlie and goes off on the Baird School to the dean/faculty/etc. Love that scene. If I were half the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place!!!!
