I’m not sure we’re a joke. We struggle to shoot it from three, for sure. We do a fair amount well I would say. We’ll go 0-2 this upcoming week against UT and AU, so we had to have this one.
This is proof that a lot of the officiationg BS isn't even about UK. There should never be a scenario where one team shoots 37 free throws to their opponents 9.
Somethings gotta get fixed. We can't just give home teams this type of preferential treatment just because officials are scared to upset the student section.

That’s not it. We get downhill and our bigs get fouled on offensive rebounds.
Guards are really good at showing they are getting fouled away from the basket.
It’ll even out over the course of the year.

Georgia has a good team, especially their front line. However, the past 2 games, just about anyone could win with that FT discrepancy.

They do a good job of selling it for sure. I don’t think it’s a conspiracy from the ref’s. Sometimes I think they pander to the home crowd.
Georgia will win zero games away from home. Zero. It’s still to be seen if UK can either.
At the very least, this is a contradicting statement. If the fouls are indeed skewed because of the style you play.. then why would the fouls be evened out through the course of the year?
Do you plan on changing this style of play... or is it because Georgia might not get these calls when they are away from home?
Kentucky played a style in 2015 that ran teams into the ground through sheer talent, speed, size, and the ability to platoon..and should have caused a lot of fouls. Yet we didn't get any games where we shot 37 and the opponent shot 9. If an NBA Super team can't get the fouls simply because opponents can't stay in front of us either.. then no one can.

We have never had two rim protectors on one team like these two guys before. Newell and Cyril are a problem for the rest of the league.
Bully and floppy ball have worked for them so far. I say we beat them easily if we play them again with efficient refs.

Oklahoma found out like we did, that it’s hard to win when your opponent is given an inordinate amount of uncontested free throws with the clock stopped.
His name is actually because of Duke. Seriously. His dad is a Duke grad and former Duke golfer who named him after his beloved alma mater’s school color.

I would agree that they feel like an 8-10, 9-9 team, but that's more than enough to be very comfortable seeding-wise going into the NCAA-T.
