FSU was going for a game winning FG. It was blocked, and GT ran it in for the game winning TD as time ran out.

Another incredible finish almost as crazy as Mich-Mich St last week.
FSU was due a letdown after their emotional win over the Cards last week.
GA Tech showing how an under manned team can pull off an upset. Shorten the game, keep it low scoring, and steal it late.
Back to back weeks with unbelievable finishes in college. The Michigan State - Michigan finish was epic, and now this finish with FSU losing on a blocked FG attempt with GT running it back 78 yards for the winning score as time expires. Man I love this game!!
I didn't see it but according to reporters at the game, the Yellowjackets coaching staff was waving and screaming trying to tell their players not to touch the blocked kick since it went past the line of scrimmage. If Ga Tech doesn't touch it then it is a dead ball but the one player scooped it up and scored.
The coaches of Ga Tech would have been happy just to go to OT. They must have been thinking about Leon Lett of the Cowboys on Thanksgiving day some 20 years ago.
