Anyone else been following this case? I'm a little surprised to not see a thread made on it yet.

Quite a bizarre case. But the short description of it is, Brian and Gabby who are engaged, go on a cross country trip living out of a van along the way. Brian shows back up at home in Florida without Gabby. She's reported missing by her parents but Brian won't talk or cooperate with the investigation. He immediately lawyers up. Brain then goes missing and they still can't find him. A Youtube/social media blogger realizes while editing a video that they caught on dash cam the van they were traveling in parked on the side of a road in Wyoming. Search then finds human remains matching the description of Gabby about 600 feet from the site of the van in the dash cam video.

This is a very short and quick recap so far. There are more layers to it including the murder of two woman that were camping close to Brain and Gabby. Many are speculating Brian is responsible.

Just a crazy, still developing case. Brian is missing at this very moment and authorities are searching for him. The house he lives in(I think his parents house) has been taped off by the FBI as of this morning. Brians parents have got to know the details as well, but they are also not talking.

I think its quite obvious who killed her, but now they gotta find him. Should be a very interesting case to follow.

I can’t believe law enforcement wasn’t surveilling him 24/7 and he was able to slip away.

I live about 10 mins from North Port one of my stores is essentially in that neighborhood. Obviously, it’s big news here.

i don’t know what’s true or not, as I haven’t really been following closely. However, one of my employees just told me that, according to the local rumor mill, they both had some amount of psychological issues and they had discussed with others at times a mutual suicide type pact where they would jump off a cliff/bridge/etc.

Again, no clue whether there is any merit to this at all, just something I heard a few mins ago.

You have believe he killed her. He not only left her there, he took her van and went home and hasn't said a word. Sadly he's probably killed himself by now, his parents are trash too for not trying to help, even now that he is missing.

Going to take luck at this point to figure out how she died unless she was buried. It's a eerie that a couple just happened to be filming while driving down the road and caught the van on camera. Some say you can see him digging the whole and others point out her sandals on the ground right behind the van.

IMO the police really dropped the ball in this case, he should have been made a suspect from day one and kept under surveillance.

Agree with all points.

I do hope they find him alive cause I think they crack him very quickly and figure out exactly what happened. But, that is becoming more and more unlikely.

Still not found him, they have kicked the parents out of their house and took it over, they also have visited his sister house now. They took his car and some reports spotted him near Toomers Corner, Alabama.

They do make the bomb lemonade at Toomers. If I was on the run, it’s probably the first place I stop if I’m being honest.

Apparently, his lawyer is hiding him.

Also, just out of curiosity, who financed this cross country trip?

Where does it say parents aren’t cooperating? Watched the news and they said the parents told fbi they thought he was hiding in the 24,000 acre nature reserve in Florida.

Im not turning my kid in I don’t care whose daughter dies. I’ll take the blame before I put my kid in prison for the rest of his life.

Cops effed up letting this dude out of their sight. Everyone knew he was 100% responsible for whatever happened. Should have had 2 cars posted up on his street and following everywhere until the proof came to arrest him.

As much as I despise the woman, Nancy Grace made a really good point about the fiancé. It seems unlikely he just slipped out of his parents’ house and escaped unnoticed a few days ago. There have been protestors and news crews there around the clock. My guess is he was gone long before this, or was never there to begin with.

I’ve felt from the beginning that something with this whole situation doesn’t add up. Both of them appear to be high in the police body cam footage. She acts as though she is very unstable. To be frank (and, yes, judgmental), he just looks like the kind of guy who does meth and steals catalytic converters. And a cross-country camping road trip sure sounds like a good cover for drug mules to me.

The two women who were shot and killed at a nearby campsite don’t seem like a coincidence. There was also the story from a couple who briefly picked the fiancé up when he was hitchhiking that he freaked out and asked to get out of the car when they told him they were headed to Jackson, Wyoming.

I mean, yeah… Occam’s Razor (thanks @Get Bucket$) says he killed her and has fled from the police. But part of me wonders if they crossed paths with and/or were in business with the wrong people and she ended up dead and he’s a marked man.

I like this story better but doubt it would happen like this. If so, WOW.
