GALAX @ FORT CHISWELL

Because Fort had to play on Monday, if I remember right Galax played Giles on Monday last year and turned around and played Fort that Friday. I think that was the teams involved last year but i could be wrong. Someone else might remember for sure.
Kickoff is 12:30. It was moved because Ft Chiswell moved it. It was there call since they played on Monday we tried to fight it and compromise with them but they would not budge. Fort refused to play on Friday and will only play Saturday even though we did play Giles on Monday and them the following Friday.
Compromise? Is playing that game on Friday a compromise? If you are playing one of the highest ranked teams in the state and the defending state champs, wouldn't you want your team/kids to have a fighting chance to get ready? It is the home school's choice. Get over it. If a coach called me and asked to move a game for that reason, I would be more than happy to try and help. You also have to realize that sometimes the decision is made for the coach by the administration.
I dont have a problem with it other than the fact the weather looks better on Friday than Saturday. I am over it lol. I dont care if we play today tomorrow or Saturday or Sunday.
Monday sounds good. Weather looks better for the game that day,but Fort would have to play on another short week.
How is the weather and is the game still on? I may make the trip down to check out this years version of Galax and Fort.
If Galax plays like they're capable of they should probably win going a away but they don't always play like that so if Fort shows up Galax doesn't it could be closer than most think. I Still think Galax will win this game.

Don't let score of that loss to Galax fool everyone. Miscues and Galax taking advantage of short fields early converting to TD'a cause this game to get out of hand early.

I hate to bust your bubble. GW isn't the number 2 team in the west. GW had 31 yards rushing against Galax. That had nothing to do with a short field. I remember a 94 yard sprint from Dougie Peoples and that was in a straight line. He didn't run around for 94 yards then score, he went up the middle. If GW gets past PH, then you can put them in the top 10.
Fort will NOT be able to run against Galax. That leaves the passing game. Some times we have it and some times we don't. The weather will play a part in the fact we want be able to throw the ball. With every incompletion the clock will stop. Giving Galax ample opportunities to score. This game will get UGLY if Galax doesn't have a lot of turnovers. The only way Fort will score is go 5 wide and let the QB run for 300 yards.
Haha trust me GW is top 2 in the West. The West is sadly way down this year with the exception of GW,Galax and PM. Other than that it's alot of shinny turds. Meaning alot of 9-1 8-2 teams with no quality wins. You were standing right there on the hill and saw mistake after mistake by GW. Not saying Galax didn't do there job and beat us. But we made it pretty easy. You can't give a team that is that we'll coached gifts like we did. We will handle PH and Chilhowie and RR. If GW isn't top 10 then why is it that everyone has them right at the top? Why is it that we have top 3 talent? And you also watched GW air it out at will and then stop for no reason. If that game is played again it will be alot like radford #2 from last year. We only get better after a loss.

Sure am and still think they need to do a much better job with what they have. This year is a little bit better. But I can name quite a few coaches who would do a much better job. And nope I don't claim to be smarter than anyone. Trust me in not the only one with the opinion that GW could've hired a better fit.
The cream always rises to the top. The HOGO is weak as crap. Compare them to Mt. Empire, well you really can't. So lets keep on keeping on tooting that GW will win state horn and see what happens. If the time come for me to eat crow, well I know how to prepare it.
That is very fair and I don't disagree that the hogo is really down. GW, PH and Chilhowie are really the only 3. And RR can give a few teams fits but they are down compared to usual.
