I honestly believe Galax only ran 1/10th of their offense tonight. They ran the same play 75% of the time.

Galax did exactly what they needed to do.

I know most perceive Holston as "just Holston", but their back 7 on defense and skill players are pretty dang good. It was upfront where Galax had the advantage. It was a sloppier game than I expected, but it was an uptick in competition for both, also.

Congrats to both teams on a good season and best of luck Galax going forward.

Agree with every bit of that. Many were going by name recognition only and that is often accurate, but Holston wasn't "just Holston" this year. They had a very good football team.

Holston was a very athletic team. The QB was as advertised and their defense flowed extremly fast to the ball. The QB was very smooth and had a great arm.
Was just surprised at how we didn't run the zone read as much as usual. It was successful everytime we ran it, as well as not throwing the ball around much but the coaches know better than me. Lol
