Well I too have UT. Not looking good, but UT is been a very bad 1st half team.

I just do not have the time nor energy to approach it as a business. I usually bet $50 / $100 per game. The parlays and teasers are usually $20 variety, they are called tease for a reason.

I took Wake Forest +23, so I take dogs, I just have to feel good about it. Felt good with Texas tech, they got boat raced.

Happy you won, but those were the morning slate. Who knows if you lost it all in the afternoon slate?

BBDK and the rest of us are straight dudes, I know its frowned upon, but nobody in this thread is fluffing winners only. Hell I took one of the worst gd beatings in a while. At one time lost 7 straight. -$255 on the year now. Touch !!!!!

Think we all had ****** weekends. So much so for me, I am sitting the NFL game out tonight. Can't get a handle on anyway to go. Like the over, like Arizona, which is why I am off of it. This weekend was a crazy weekend. I would make the same bets I made again, it was just a bad week. I did get lucky on the push last night with Indy letting Houston hit the 3 line. I had all ready chalked that up as a L.

Yeah I use Ace23 ( local book) and the mothertouchers had odds up for Houston to win the AAC at like +175 or something. It was up for two weeks. I hammered it, then a couple weeks ago, I had a message that read "Houston wager cancelled for a bad line." WTF ? the line was up for the longest, I had the bet made for a week before cancelling.

I can actually get a situation like that...maybe.


But this Tony cat does it all the time, for much less obvious/serious lines -- and not only does he cancel the wager, he SUSPENDS people's accounts.

I think we're all just a bunch of degenerate gamblers on here. Some of us play big, some small. Some bet parlays and teasers. I don't do it all of the time but do on occasion. I have heard many times of bets like the DAK for Rookie if the year being cancelled because they didn't change it in time.. while it's upsetting and not fair, the Houston bad line is far more ridiculous. If they had it hangin there at +175 for a couple weeks that's their problem. I would be livid.

Any available option should be deemed valid... how hard is it for a book to simply take the line or selection down if it needs to be reassessed?

I had big problems with bovada, would not suggest playing there. I need to start betting on the NFL thats my area. I always find myself betting on the wildcats though once basketball comes around. Early in the season because their lines are still on the perception of inexperienced freshman. FWIW I haven't lost betting on UK at the SECT the last 2 years and I bet every game.

That's my opinion too. I'm not a Vegas regular, but pretty sure those books aren't cancelling bets...b/c they are on top of ****. If you are going to run a book, run it.

Exactly, I mean the line was up for a while, even over a week after I made the bet. I tried to call and cancel a wager when I noticed NC State / ND game was a gd monsoon (hurricane Matthew for the MFn loss). I bet the over early on like a Tuesday. It was like 59 or something. I really liked the line so I bet it early. Saturday before kickoff, I saw the weather conditions, tried to cancel wager (text bookie). Nope, I had to eat it. The second game, Virginia Tech / UNC, I just bet the under and eat the juice.

Nice little 4-0 sweep again last night, have some momentum back. Haven't had a really big Saturday in 4 weeks, I'm due.



Also hit a pick 3 and Pick 4 at Keeneland yesterday for $500, kinda getting the horse bug. Need to learn more about it, pretty much just getting lucky and betting w/ some help/tips, but it's fun. Have turned my $50 Derby deposit into $772, but know that won't last.

Any of you horseys recommend a good book or material on Form Reading? I know all the bets, and how to navigate the track/TwinSpires -- but really lack any kind of ability to really read the Bris in depth & handicap from it on my own.
