Oweh is the fakest tough guy. Amazing the game amps up and he decides to get chirpy, then goes
Soft to basket and finishes like a bi*** to get his lay up slapped off the board. Last year he would have punched that.
This team is the most infuriating team in the 36 years I have followed.
Pope needs to go. Now.

This team really really looks like a team with no point guard.

a lot of unfortunate problems with this team that should have never been from the beginning of a year two from Pope. Looks damn near impossible to overcome the shortcomings yet again with the injuries.

I dunno.

if you have two years straight where you have injuries that take you out, is it systemic or just bad luck ? You'd think at this level there would be some built in redundancy, and Popes self assessment that the team was built for injuries to overcome...

but it should never have been an issue from the outset.

They gambled.

It is backfiring and misfiring and is FUGLY> period. no sugar coating it.

next man up, whomever you are. don't lose the all time wins lead, either this year guys. But you sure loook like the team that would lose it for us , that is what I'm seeing, and I've been watching it 50 years.

Only thing positive about half, is it appears effort has improved somewhat. In prior games, this team would have given up and behind by 20. See what next half brings. The players Agents must have sent message their respective players draft aspirations are tanking because of individual effort. That authentic, confrontational feedback ain’t coming from Pope nor Fox.

We are screwed in so many ways. No PG, No clue on offense. And no help on the way thanks to Mitch and his buddies at JMI. Fans need to raise holy hell with the Atheletic administration. Mitch, Eli, and the whole damn AD department need to be fired!!

As bad as we have been and only down 7. Feels a lot like IU game where law of averages says we make some now. Cats by 6.

It is baffling how befuddled and confused we appear on offense though. Not to mention the awful lineups we’ve put in the floor. I still feel we win today despite it all.

Dan Hurley won more games in year 2, than year one. He took over when the NIL era wasn’t a thing. He did an old school rebuild. And each year he got better and better. Year 2 and we’re 7-4. Dan Hurley should never be compared to Mark Pope.

Hopefully the fans learn from this and don’t waste their money and time on the SEC Tournament while Pope is coaching

Championship Classic = Letdown
Nashville against Gonzaga = Embarassment
Atlanta against St. John’s = Another disappointment.

Free throws and turnovers are things will keep us down. We can’t score, you can’t win with turnovers, missed free throws and most of our shots are forced. We can’t do anything frustrating as he—!🤬

Yeah this was a coin toss to me. St John's is not that good. And we're getting spanked.


A good UofL team while we suck is making it hard to be jolly.


A sucky FB team and now a sucky BB team. Meanwhile The Wicked Mitch of the West continues to get paid.

And this game is yet another game in less than 1.5 seasons UK has gotten down big n a first half. Why is Popes game preparation so atrocious?

I will comment him for 2nd half adjustments. He has been solid to very good at that at times. You can't keep digging holes.

Dan did an old school rebuild. Won more games in year 2 than one. Consistent improve year over year. He had no portal, no 22 million NIL budget. Comparing Dan Hurley to Mark Pope is hilarity. The cult knows no bounds. Mark Woodson.
