It’s not just roster construction. Look at the offense, look at the defense. Look at the lack of preparation coming out of the gate. Look at the recruiting. He’s learning on the job. We aren’t in the position for this. Uconn is chasing #7. Duke is rolling.

Why would I think I was trolling, or "Pope shielding"? If it's meant to be, he'll be fired at season end, or he'll walk away. As much as it sucks to lose like this, it has to play out. He said he would fix the issues. That won't happen overnight. And for the people crying that he was supposed to be an offense guru, that was never the case. Yes, his teams were known for offense, but it was staff that mostly taught that. Where is the guy he brought with him who was supposed to be teaching this stuff? Why is Pope not getting in their asses in-game? He's not at BYU anymore, fans here WANT to see him do what it takes.

Pope is just not a good coach. He assembled a horrible collective of players with no backup PG. He has no idea what to do. He is running jr high level offense. He is just not good.

Right - there just aren’t any offensively skilled players on the roster. JJ is the closest thing by he’s not ready for this yet.

His teams performance through 11.5 games is what makes him a bad coach

You can guarantee Bruce Pearl would have a serviceable point guard. I just literally cannot believe the lack of guards on this team. Its the recipe for success in the league. And we literally have no point guard. Craziness.

Id maybe call John Wall and just see if thered be some way he could enroll and play. I honestly think youre going to see this happen eventually. Some past player will find a loop hole to play for their Alma mater and the toothless NCAA wont be able to stop it.

Of course Mitch would never.. Kentucky does things differently or some ****
