Well, for a little positive spin, the lineup of Moreno w/ Jasper, Chandler, Noah and Williams looked pretty good the latter part of the half.
I think you assume two things that aren’t necessarily certain to happen. One is that JQ will even “come back”. This team will have 5 losses (at least) and be unranked by the time he’s potentially ready. He will have a bunch of people in his ear not to rush anything.
Secondly, if he does come back I highly doubt Pope just plays BG sparingly. Pope seems to be the only guy on the planet that thinks BG is worthy of the time he gets. Dates all the way back to last season. Hell, he played nearly as many mins as AW. Thats just batshit crazy. Coaching malpractice, to borrow a term this board loved to use.
No SECT or regular season title. And a sweet 16. Pretty good for year one. Year 3? With millions in NIL dollars? Nope.

Whole team is really bad. Looks at our performances against UL and Michigan state. We got outscored 179-154 combined. Team is really bad.
Yeah, I think Maryland is solid. I still remember Jade Perry from my town (Muhlenberg) playing for the national championship Maryland team in the early 2000's.
That lineup would give up 120 points to a team with a pulse. Zero rebounding and very little on ball defense. But that’s true of most of our lineups. Just a poorly constructed roster.
