Did anyone else have an issue finding items for a child at the Homecoming game. I attempted to buy a t-shirt, sweatshirt or some other clothing option for my 3 year old daughter at the game last Saturday. Not only did they shrink the size of the store selling items but they did not carry items below a youth medium at any of the kiosks and stores. I asked the attendant and she said she hasn't seen any items this year.

Not a smart idea especially on homecoming

You can go to the book store, scarlet fever, or RU Books for kids/baby sizes.

Been this way for years. I did get a baby outfit on clearance at the stadium 4-5 years back.

Thanks, I have had good luck in the past finding sweat shirts, hats and t-shirts for my kids at the games. This year they had absolutely nothing. Not a single item for someone under 6. Just an opportunity lost to sell items specifically on homecoming

Considering those places are on college ave and not really ideal for someone coming in directly for the game, it seems like that is a backup plan but not really a fix for the issue brought up.
Maybe they tracked sales over the years and found it wasnt worth the orders/supply to make them available at/around the stadium?

You would think they would make special consideration for an event like Homecoming though. I was not the only one asking. There were 3 others at one kiosk asking about children's items. They had only one t-shirt style for kids and maybe twenty of those in stock an hour before the game.

Rutgers needs to have a good-size,year-round permanent store by the stadium. I know other schools have them (been to the one at South Carolina). A huge percentage of people coming to the games or visiting campus do not go into New Brunswick or even if they do,don't want to look around for the stores and have to pay to park their car.

I never understand why they don't open the Busch Student Center early on gamedays as well as put a pop-up shop in there on gamedays. I'm know business expert but I feel like that's revenue you're leaving on the table.

Homecoming seems to be just another football game. Nothing special is offered or done.

The one kiosk by the north entrance seems to be the only one with children's apparel. I walked a full circle around the stadium trying to find a shirt for my 2 year old.

I havent been on campus for a game in a long while...do they sell t-shirts etc at the stadium? I would think places like Scarlet Fever(owned by an alum who posts here) would have a field day if they set up flea market style. I TRY Scarlet Fever 1st when i am in town.....I like to support alums .....

When I went to my hometown(now) bowl in Orlando ....venders were set up everywhere,,,,,I am sure I dropped $150 on t-shirts n stuff......it was part of the fun!

Make a trip and support your team.

As far kids merchandise at the stadium, they absolutely should be selling all sizes.
Common sense is lacking with a lot of the game day experience provided by Rutgers.

That is the one kiosk that had children's gear. One t-shirt starting at children's size 6. As previous posters have mentioned why does Rutgers make it so hard to support the University. I have been to many schools stadium and they practically move an entire Dick's sporting goods to the stadium on game day.
