Wasn’t nervous for Troy or Illinois. Had solid feelings about both. My gut tells me absolutely nothing about tonight.

I’m with you @bbncal02
I’m already a nervous wreck. Doesn’t help my office was closed today. So no distractions lol
I really haven’t wanted a win this badly in years
Crazy isn’t it?
I don’t have a good or bad feeling yet, but my anxiety is pretty high
This. I’m not feeling bad. Just really anxious.

The key for our two wins was 12 of 24 3 point baskets in each. I predict we win if we hit 12 3s or if we hit 50% of 3s.

also the Mountain Mamba needs to play and hit at least one 3 pointer.

On paper, UT is a 2 and we're a 3. However, games aren't played on paper. They're played inside TV sets.

UT can't put more than 5 guys on the floor at any one time and we've beaten them twice this year. So let's lace 'em up and see what happens.

Well, I haven't even wanted to watch a game in person since the platoon year. Didn't really feel like watching any games, tbh. I couldn't tell you the first thing about Wenyen Gabriel or any of the guys we had since then. I know Tshiebwe was a great rebounder... The Shaedon Sharpe BS.... That's about it.

Then I went to Pope's intro in Rupp. Making it to the Sweet Sixteen reactivated me like a sleeper agent, I suppose, and I know for a fact another buddy of mine feels the same way and is also going to Indy. If we win tonight, we'll probably stay up there for Sunday's matchup.

I really couldn't wager how many we'll have since this is my first Sweet Sixteen, but I feel like the aura is immaculate... to borrow a phrase from Gen Z. So take that for what it's worth.

If I had to guess, I think we show out.
You haven’t hardly watched a game in 10 years!? I can’t imagine doing that lol.

I'll be there with you....................... GO BIG BLUE... I debated on getting tickets but got them this morning......
You guys enjoy! I was at Milwaukee last week and it was the 1st neutral court game in my 40 years of attending that UK had fewer fans than the opponent. But our guys played so hard and smart to win. Great season, SO FAR! Let’s keep it up!

we aren't supposed to be here, we aren't supposed to win this game, and we are playing semi-injured players....

And we've been like this the entire time.

Who give's a flying fish, lets when this game!

Go Big Blue!

I say TN has to not make mistakes to even come close to winning, and they only beat UCLA by 9 points....

Bring out the energy and the confidence...I like our chances.

Im content on this season and how it's played out. Now consider Jackson would have probably put us in the final four Mark Pope would have been a king in year 1

He is a casual fan. Real UK fans watch through the good and the bad.

And yeah if we are acting like 2017, 2019 and 2020 were disappointing seasons then the standards for Popes tenure just got raised if the elite 8 is a bad season.

Win or lose season has been a success in my book. First year Pope has done great. With that said I really want to win this game.

Would love to send those orange bastards home, but Pope is playing with house money tonight. Season has been wildly successful, all things considered. There is no pressure.

Of course it being against Tennessee makes it more personal for us but at the end of the day we either win or we come up short. Amazing job to get this bunch this far, IMO, given everything we've had to go through. Already exceeded our ranking entering the season and what the analytics said we would be, and those were taking into account everyone remaining healthy. No matter what, the foundation has been set for the seasons to come and the future looks very bright.

Tell y'all what, I-65 sucked, there was a burning mulch pile, idiot Hoosier drivers, a fellow UK fan that threw Ls down at us, and I flipped off a Tennessee fan. The drive up here was mostly crap, but the camaraderie with the vehicles toting folks in blue made it tolerable.

Get over your nerves, y'all!

You know the state animal in Indiana is the orange and white barrel?

And turn signals in Indiana are warning lights. 😜

Whatever happens tonight, doesn't erase the amazing work Pope and the team have done this year. I feel good about our chances tonight, like you, I feel that there'd be nothing worse than to get knocked out by Tennessee, but have faith. We didn't make our first S16 in 6 years on pure luck.
Losing to Louisville in the 1983 elite 8 was pretty bad I can tell you that.
