Usually those things have little to say worth reading.

I found today's full of interesting stats:

• Kentucky is looking to earn its fifth SEC victory for the first time since 1977 under Fran Curci
and first four-game league winning streak since that same season when the Wildcats finished
a perfect 6-0 in conference play.
• Kentucky has now won three straight SEC games, the longest conference winning streak since
also winning three in 2006 and 1999.
• Kentucky is 4-2 in SEC play for the first time since 1993.
• This marks the first time UK has had four wins in league play since 2006 and just the second
time since 1999.
• This is the first time that UK has three wins over SEC Eastern Division opponents since the
league split into divisional play in 1992.
• The 35 points UK scored in last week’s win over Missouri are the most points scored in an SEC
road game since Oct. 2, 2010 at Ole Miss and the most scored in an SEC road win since Sep.
22, 2007 at Arkansas (42).
• The 14-point margin of victory over the Tigers is the largest in an SEC road game since Nov. 2,
2002 at Mississippi State (21 points)
• Boom now has 2,162 career rushing yards, seventh on Kentucky’s career rushing list.
• Both Benny Snell, Jr. and Stanley “Boom” Williams have three 100-yard rushing games so
far this season. This is just the second time in school history Kentucky has had two players
each have at least three 100-yard rushing games in the same season (Sonny Collins and Mike
Fanuzzi, 1974).
• Sophomore linebacker Jordan Jones has been a menace to opposing offenses, registering 71
tackles to rank third among all SEC defenders in tackles per game with 8.9.
• Jones is fifth in the nation in solo tackles and 39th in total tackles per game. He also has a
team-high eight quarterback hurries.
• By virtue of winning each of their first three SEC home games, the Cats accomplished
something they had not done since 1990.
THE KILLER B’S
• The Wildcats’ offense has taken off in the past two weeks in large part thanks to the three-
headed monster of running backs
Boom Williams and Benny Snell Jr. and wide receiver Jeff Badet.
• The trio has provided big plays both on the ground and through the air as the Cats have piled
up 1,136 yards of total offense (582 vs. Missouri; 554 vs. Mississippi State).
• Snell has rushed 57 times for 320 yards and three scores in the past two games, including a
career-long 34-yard jaunt against Mississippi State.
• Williams has used his speed to rush for 281 yards on 33 carries with a 60-yard scoring sprint
against Missouri to go with his 13-yard receiving touchdown against the Tigers.
• Badet has rocketed up the Cats’ all-time receiving yardage chart with 243 yards and three
scores on just 10 catches the past two weeks. His touchdowns have gone for 40, 44 and 65
yards. The junior ranks second nationally in yards per catch at 24.8 per reception.
• Badet’s 65-yard touchdown play at Mizzou is UK’s longest in an SEC road game since an
80-yarder from Dusty Bonner to Quentin McCord at Vanderbilt in 1999.

And then they talk defense.
