Game Haiku

[ubercat]

Wilde Cats debut
As rabbit season opens
Looks to be Chiles play

[FlossmoorCat]

Cats rushing attack
Komolafe and Sawchuk
Wear down the bunnies

[Hungry Jack]

Angst-ridden Cat fans
Fret about little rabbits
Like Monty Python

[iskaboo]

Why South Dakota State?
A tough debut for Wildcats
Please don’t Jack around!

[Deeringfish]

Wildcats will feast
Delicious table set
Bunnies end up meat

[stpaulcat]

Jacks' species of hare*,
black tail or white? Either way,
Lepus turns tail, runs.

*Not Hungry Jack

[eastbaycat99]

Jackrabbits visit
The big city and a small
Stadium. Go Cats.

[Hungry Jack]

Way up in Brookings
The females discard pretense
Of being on guard.

Though the footballers
Deny it, their saltpeter diet
Renders them unhard.

[loyolacat]

roll in off the plains
looking for game and a kill
but end up the hunted

[stpaulcat]

First game fidgets.
NU prone to early loss,
Lost mind, sanity?

[JustGary]

David, Tim, and Chip
Open the new football field
At last Braun and brains

[ringthebells]

Wilde and Olson
Cut their teeth as Jackrabbits
We are everywhere

NIL be damned
An upset in the making?
Go Jackrabbits go!

Edited because I suck at easy things.

[ubercat]

Renaming waters
Now a thing as we play on
Shores of Lake Komo

[ubercat]

Way up in Brookings
The females discard pretense
Of being on guard.

Though the footballers
Deny it, their saltpeter diet
Renders them unhard.

Well done, Sir. A Haikumerick!
Somewhere FloridAlum is smiling.

[AstroCat]

waiting for the dawn
of a new Wildcat era
will this be the year

[HKKJB]

Wilde and Olson
Cut their teeth as Jackrabbits
We're everywhere

NIL be damned
An upset in the making?
Go Jackrabbits go!

Hey just to note, the first one is 5-7-4.

[ringthebells]

Hey just to note, the first one is 5-7-4.

Damnit! English always kicked my ***.

[ringthebells]

Gotta catch a flight the Chicago. Good luck this weekend and for the rest of the season. Thanks for letting me show my stupid for a little bit. Go Jacks!

[Alaskawildkat]

Wildcats and Rabbits

The Bunnies get Distracted

Great Start for the Year

(Video - Recent Rabbits in my yard.)

[JustGary]

Damnit! English always kicked my ***.

Just change We’re to “we are”

[stpaulcat]

Fidgets or widgets?
Either way, not to worry
Rabbits are Catnip.

[Hungry Jack]

I tuned in last night
To see Fitz in green and white
And I got man boobs

[BosCat]

Season starts, but where?
NRF - not ready field
Lakeside for two more?

[HKKJB]

Hey just to note, the first one is 5-7-4.

Nice fix though....

[NU'06er]

Early bye this year
Packing up the bunny hutch
Ryan Field awaits

[loyolacat]

bye week came today
suns out no one to play
recliner my old friend

[Kawacko71]

Has anyone wondered who hired Braun, who ran spring practice the spring before Braun's first season ( his best) and who signed his first recruiting class? Just saying.

Doesn't seem to be 5-7-5.

[JustGary]

I will paraphrase
his meaning in a Haiku
But I disagree

Has anyone wondered
Who created Braun era?
Fitz did! Just sayin

Thanks for translating
If syllables don’t match, I
Discombobulate

Comparative thing
JON vs Chip – who hired who?
Glad the book is closed

Whether good or bad
Fitz got credit in millions
Gold stars here don’t count

[Kawacko71]

Sorry I meant to post in the hate Fitz thred.

[loyolacat]

buffs roam the prairie
spooked by cats running wild
sprint home wary of cats

[NU'06er]

Buffs coach? Past his prime.
AFLAC duck can't save you now!
Two bunny hutch wins...

[HKKJB]

Wind buffets the buffs

While the thick lake-level air

Puts Cats in their prime

[ubercat]

Ahem. Just a friendly reminder. The game Haiku thread starts two days before the game. Just sayin’
Just as the prediction thread starts 3 days before game day..

to resurrect one from the Vault…

True haiku’s timeless
It can ignore calendars
But it starts Thursdays

[WestCoastWildcat]

Let the lake effect
billow out the bad Buffs and
sandbag Coach Prime Time.

you should know better
Worse Haiku I ever seen
Why Ubercat Why?
