Obviously that would be Game 7 of the World Series, but we are talking Illinois HS football. What is your candidate for "Game of the Year" and why?

I'll start...
Plainfield North @ Fenwick in the Class 7A semi-finals.

Why? No other game received as much attention as this. Competitive, controversial, OT game with high stakes b/c it was semi-finals.

Johnsburg's home semi-final OT win vs Phillips in 4A after the latter had ended the former's season the last 2 years is worthy of mention. The "city vs ex-urban" dimension to the game was also a factor of interest.

Glenbard North and ESL has to be in the top 5 somewhere. It was the 7A title game but took place in the 2nd round and was settled on the last play of the game.
