Yes, but it seemed that baby was going to be a story of significance somewhere.

I understand the thought he shattered when the NK did, but if he wasn’t there then why?

That baby was just one of many that the NK had gotten from Craster. He was breeding his daughters, he kept the girl babies while the NK got all the males in return I assume for not killing them. We saw the NK turn the baby and according to the show if you kill the one that creates them, they also die so it's all but assured that those babies are dead too wherever they were. I'd say they were meant to be white walkers in his future army.

I hope the final episode starts off with “previously on Game of Thrones” and then shows that scene with the NK turning the baby lol. That demon baby is currently crawling his little *** south as we speak as he’s the new NK.

All I know for sure is that I’ll be majorly disappointed if we really have seen the last of the NK and the white walkers.

Aegon/Jon will die once his purpose is filled, just as the one who kept coming back to ultimately save Arya. I thought Sansa would end up on the throne starting this season and it’s looking more likely now. I think Daenerys decides it wasn’t worth the cost after Jon dies and goes back to her homelands or she dies also, clearing the way for little bird.

No matter how things work out, Sansa has no claim to the throne. Not by marriage and not by name. I don't see her leading a battle to sack the city either.

She's going to do what Cersei did except be smarter and sit back to let everyone fight it out and then take power. I don't think she will be queen because I think the show has set enough precedent that Jon simply can't be killed.

Like Tywin and/or Olenna, Sansa will be the true ruler of Westeros but without the crown.

I think Bran’s powers are a little more complicated than they seem. Like he knows things and can go back in time but has to be
Just realized as soon as the credits roll someone is just gonna come up from Dorne or Essos or the Iron Bank or something and kick whoever off the Iron Throne anyways
Westeros getting re-possessed. Iron Throne being pulled away by a tow truck in the middle of the night.

I think Daenerys dies, Jon is fed up and goes to the north again. Westeros is ruled by a council of Sansa, Tyrion, Varys, and Davos. To hell with a monarchy.

Abolishing the Iron Throne has been my prediction for a couple years now at least. It would take both Dany and Ceresi dying though, because obviously neither of them will ever voluntarily give up their claim.

They’re downplaying Arya being a Faceless (Wo)man. She could walk in to the Red keep and kill Ceresi just as easily as she killed Walder Frey. And then do the same to Dany after that, if necessary.

Nobody has considered a government change, rule by committee is possible and the chair is melted down. Although I think Jon gets one last smoker from Aunt Donny before it’s over.

Cersei goes down this next episode, and the final episode is everybody jockeying for the Iron Throne.

Basically where we started....

Gendry, the last Baratheon, will end up on the Iron Throne. It's basically been said, if you listened carefully.

Agree I think that's where it is heading after last week. In season one need changed the will to be rightful heir. Last week gendry was legitimized, which now makes him an heir

Dany will die. Jon wants nothing to do with it. Gendry meets all the same personality traits as Jon (discussed by varys and Tyrion).

Sansa is the only other contender imo

Roberts war was based on a lie so the Targaryens have just as much if not more of a claim. But they are keeping Gendry around for some reason and it has to be more than a blacksmith. It would be a surprise because his role in the show was mostly token, why would someone with such a small role end up on the throne.

A few questions:

The SuperFriends team planning southern attack on Legion of Doom have basically three folks with super powers... Ayria, Dany and Bran...You’d think the one who can’t swing a sword would be asked to do his best 3-Eyed Raven to go scout out the scene for recon of King’s Landing... AMIRITE? Hey, guys, Euron is over here with his fleet (again)... and he’s got these gigantic crossbows too.

Varys... who asked him? Who does he report to? Who invited him to the inner sanctum, knowing he’s an underhanded freak show?

Melisandre... can’t someone pickup her necklace and become a badass? Please?

Sansa... she marries Jon? Jon has a thing for gingers.

Drinking Game... definitely the worst scene in 8-seasons of episodes. So freakin weak. How do they grow grapes on the tundra of Winterfell?

Varys had his hand in everything from the start. He got Dany and her brother out before they were murdered. He and like minded people took care of them until they were old enough to rule.

They explained it all in the book. Can't remember if the show did or just glossed over it

Is he? I thought there were dozens of Barastards? I know they killed a few, but those were just in KL.

Don’t see the jilted lover making it to the top.

Don't think Bran is with them or even on their side so to speak. I'm going to say he's useless until proven otherwise. The wine is imported of course.

I think Cersei has proved that it doesn’t matter who “should” be on the throne. It’s a matter of who takes it and what they decide.

So, show creators Dan and Dave were on Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy asked if we were for sure done with white walkers. D&D gave each other a look and then said they weren’t going to answer that. I’m still holding out hope.

Bran is going to warg all the ravens in the world and they’ll fly in the shape of a dragon. That’s what’s Euron looked shocked about in the next episode preview.

I didnt care one iota about the Starbucks.... when watching it live...it blends in looking like it could be a frothy beer.. and you have to look close to even tell

This episode is what game of thrones has been about the entire show.......it feels like the people that are upset about it are just the people who jumped on after all the big battles hoping to see nothing but huge warfare every episode...

Agreed. It was the 80 minute fight in the dark that bored me. Was worried that was all the entire final season was going to be.

Also in the books it is eluded to that a 3rd child of the mad King which was a baby and supposedly killed had been saved.

Probably just hocking a prequel since GRRM won't get off his fat *** and finish Winds of Winter.

I think the White Walker stuff is done. I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's over. Not enough time with only 2 episodes left. What I see is them explaining the glyphs and more about the walkers in the spin off series.
