Yeah he made one in the last game and decided he was feeling it. Pretty sure they were both fairly early in the clock too so they were basically turnovers.

The MN love fest has now officially reached Jordan Ash level proportions.

I like that the kid appears to be a hard worker and he’ll be able to provide something next year. However, he had zero chance against Kofi today. Zero. 3 fouls in 2 minutes and contributed to putting us into the bonus foul situation very early in the half. Play the kid in the first half not in the second half when you know the zebra’s will ring him up on nearly every possession. He did what he could, but the 6’7 guy was our best defender on Kofi.

We were watching a different game then. Kofi was clearly frustrated and unable to move him. One of the fouls was very iffy. I’ve never been on the Matt Nicholson hype train but he can clearly play and his body is needed against a guy like Kofi.

Looked like the crowd included a thousand or so ill. fans You could hardly see them on TV.

As someone who was there, it was easily 60-70% … balconies were nearing 90% or more, and the lower bowl seats besides the students/band were 50/50 at best for NU. Empty seats being purple and Illini fans wearing blue was visually deceptive. Not trying to be combative, but that was the scene.

I’ll say this, though: the arena is an amazing place to watch a game, and the NU student section was incredibly impressive. They were honestly extremely loud. Was bummed to find out you guys don’t sell beer, though! Lol.
