I get that shooters need to shoot out of their slumps. Collins is probably telling Chase to shoot it. If the ball ends up in his hands with the shot clock winding down, that's a good time. That fast break opportunity was not a good time for a struggling player to pop a 3. He needs to use his brain a little more.
Chase is playing hero ball, and Boo is playing the real hero, but the other three guys on the court are playing turtleball.
We are playing great defense. We should be winning if we weren’t ice cold shooting. Such a shame.
When Chase shoots it so early in the shot clock, that takes opportunities away from the other players.
Edey is pretty unstoppable within his range, gotta keep him just a little further out. It’s too bad the refs aren’t calling his constant camping.
Well, and the bigs are going against an unusual defender. That has something to do with it.
Big difference from this team compared to the 2017 team is that outside the guards, there is often a disappearing act on the part of other players when the pressure is on. Not even talking just about scoring, thinking about just stepping up and trying to make something happen.
On the other hand, this team is physical. Man they don’t back down from a fight on the defensive end. Love to see those marks on Edey’s arms.
