It’s good for a guard to have in his game. He just needs to actually float it. That was a line drive.Buie has to remove the “floater” shot from his game. It’s awful and always has been. If you can’t get to the rim on the drive, dish to the open man!!
He’s on the glass tooLike to see Nance taking it to the basket and drawing fouls. Smart.
Between the two of them they already mentioned “Collins told us” like 5 timesAndy Katz made an interesting offhand comment about how Kopp going to Indiana could be a case of addition by subtraction...curious what was said to him off the record.
Yup. It's so silent I feel like I'm actually at Welsh-RyanIs the audio out for you guys?
Just came on here to post about it. Back now.Is the audio out for you guys?
Better team speed this year along with better ball distribution! Nance looks like an All Big Ten player!Tonight's starters:
Buie
Berry
Simmons
Beran
Nance
It's pretty obvious that is the case from the comments players have made.Andy Katz made an interesting offhand comment about how Kopp going to Indiana could be a case of addition by subtraction...curious what was said to him off the record.
He scores by being crafty and smart not strong and fast. His post scoring isn’t the part of his game I’d change. And Young needs to go up harder and faster.
His drive from the top of the key to the basket was more explosive than anything I recall seeing from him in the past two years. And Young needs to go up harder and faster.
Yes, it looked dumb because we could see the whole court, but he doesn't have eyes in the back of his head.I like his game. Watching him alone at the post get a great pass, and having him look around a few seconds before deciding to take a shot hurts me a bit.
Williams needs 25 minutes a night! That kid can pass the ball! He looks like a pro someday!I really liked the unselfish post passing between Williams and Young. They missed a couple of gimmes but also executed nicely a couple times too.
We have never been this deep! Ever!Cats have an interesting mix of players and are actually 9 or 10 deep. They have some experience Coupled with size, shooting and athleticism. This could be an interesting season.
BigTen conference was incredibly strong last year, but may be a bit softer this year. That coupled with a stronger NU team is good timing for cats.![]()
Why the hell not? Both of my parents were teachers, and they sure as hell had eyes in the back of their heads.Yes, it looked dumb because we could see the whole court, but he doesn't have eyes in the back of his head.
The bottom half of the conference is weak. This will hurt the SOS for the middle of the conference. I hope we will there or higher.Cats have an interesting mix of players and are actually 9 or 10 deep. They have some experience Coupled with size, shooting and athleticism. This could be an interesting season.

Same here. Must be a natural selection thing. Why the hell not? Both of my parents were teachers, and they sure as hell had eyes in the back of their heads.
He will be a solid player. Fluid on both offense and defense. Plays within himself. Not as explosive as Buie and doesn't have quite as nice of a jump shot as Berry, but early indications are he can be a backup that doesn't lead to a huge drop-off on either end.I really like Roper. He does a lot of the little things very well. Jumps straight up when blocking a shot. Boxes out. Passes well. Active hands. Doesn’t foul much. Just seems like he’s got the complete package.
Well at least I’m sitting in the heavy donations seats because they were empty.Announcers just called out our fans. “I know it’s a cold / windy night but fans need to come out and see this team and fill these purple seats.” Ouch. He’s not wrong though…
