Roy Dixon II filling up the stat sheet. He looks pretty good.
Can't really take anything away from those final few minutes. Except that Nicholson is a massive human who ought to keep grinding in practice and in the weight room. Develop a few more post moves other than the dunk and he might yet be a good one for us.

Look at the progress Ryan Young has made, and extrapolate that to Nicholson. As Hungry said, doesn't look like a stiff and just needs minutes.

Buie has been disappointing today. The And-1 was nice, but we definitely need him to be much better if we want a chance at going 2-0 in Newark.
Very inconsistent. Showing his bad habits today with the loose ball handling, stupid running floaters, turnovers, etc.

In crunch time I like Greer and Berry.

Yep, definitely a step back tonight for Boo. Hope he watches the film and learns from it.

Also a tough game for Elyjah. Probably pressing against his former team. Not a good night for him, but his Mom killed it.

Fwiw, Andy Katz, who was the color commentator on tonights BTN broadcast, has a daughter attending NU. So he is naturally pro-NU. But he was also right when talking about the team.

The only thing he missed, and it is a little nuanced, is that Young and Nance should play together and Nicholson get minutes off the bench as needed.

I’m pretty sure Elyjah’s mom was a football secretary for NU back in the early Barnett days.

FDU gave St. Johns all they could handle today, lost 87-74. Looks like a good win for NU.
