Battle and Willis are so above the rest it makes 100% sense to clamp down on them. I’d put Roper on Willis and Audige on Battle. No help. As Battle is bigger, double team him when he gets inside. But he mostly creates in the perimeter anyway. Sometimes clamping on those two allows Loewe to have a good game. So be it.

We‘ll probably see Audige on Willis and Beran on Battle as CC believes somehow Beran is so capable. Who knows, might work as it did for one half against Rutgers. Before it didn’t and Beran still did not sit down on the bench

Audige typically is our best defender, so keeping him in is important. I'm not watching the game sadly, but from the stats it looks really bad so far.

There’s a ton to dissect on what’s wrong with this zone offense. But let’s just say it often looks like a 1-4 as we put no one in the corner. Where we happened to hit two 3’s to start the game. Smh.

I see us mostly getting killed in poor defense of screens, leading to semi penetration and kick outs to players who are open due to our poor rotation.

He’s turned the ball over four times in the first 10 minutes. Whatever he does defensively is overshadowed by all the stupid plays and bad shots he takes. Time to move on from Audgie.

I’ve given them credit for playing hard all season- this game is the direct opposite. So far one team just wants it way more

The what went wrong part is easy to dissect- NU didn’t bring any effort. Sad because Minny is on fumes and a hard first half probably breaks their will to continue
