Did I imagine it or did we run a man to man play against the zone out of the timeout? And got a good look anyway?

Just when we start making a run we leave their best shooter wide open for a 3 and we missed three shots in a row between Nance and Chase

Why do marginal players have career games against us. Simmons misses the layup and both free throws this is such a typical script for us

I can’t remember the last time I saw a major college basketball team play as lackadaisical as we are right now. Just absolutely no passion at all. They look like they just want to get it over with.

This makes even (way) less sense than your average, already nonsensical, post
I don't understand your response that he makes less sense than usual.. His post is exactly the same all the time. It's admissions' fault and no other P6 school has the same challenge.

Fair. But this is a game thread against a 3 win team.

Except Stanford, of course. That's the one even those posters will usually acknowledge, then complain that of course somebody has to point out that one exception.

Minnesota has like 2-3 offensive options and we can’t figure out how to guard them. As poor as the effort has been, the coaching staff may have set a new low for their plan going into this game and the clueless adjustments. If CC is retained he needs to be forced into a couple assistant changes because I don’t see much ability there to overcome his shortfalls.

This really looks like a game where we thought if we showed up a W was in the bag. Then when Minny punched us in the nose everybody including the coaches just rolled over

I don’t understand why we didn’t at least try to press in the second half, They are getting wide open threes anyway. Looks like a scrimmage. Easily the worst game of the year for the Cats. Actually, nothing has been close to this bad.

Typical of CCC teams… they get worse as the season goes on.

As far as all the conjecture about whether Nance returns next year: Can't imagine why he would. He does not seems to be interested in being out there. Something going on with him? Physically? Mentally? He just doesn't seem to have his head in the game.

Although, to be fair, the same could pretty much be said of six or seven others.

Young Nance Williams Greer will probably graduate and maybe Chase will transfer. That might b ok. We need an overhaul of this roster and if that happens maybe get rid of CC too.

This was one of Nance's better performances of late with 18 points. I'm not sure I can really fault his effort today.

There is below average talent from a big ten perspective. It’s painfully obvious. Couple that with a putrid effort today and you get this mess.

I am going to take a large bet on the Cats in the rematch. No way in hell they can be this embarrassed and not come out pissed.

No, I asked a couple weeks back and he insisted that no other P6 team has the admissions restrictions. Zero teams
