It is not Buie hate. He is very talented. Gives great effort. Has a lot of responsibility. He is 44-49 from the FT Line this year.

He also routinely makes decisions that are absolutely indefensible. If he could clean up the jacked-up 30 footers for no reason, the hero ball when we are playing well, etc., he could be in our pantheon.

Look at the shot clock when he shoots… they’re not all early in the shot clock. A lot of times he has resorts to forcing his shot when the offense is faltering as a whole because he and Audige are the best options. Even when his shot is not falling he gets to line and creates for others. Buie is not the problem with this team.

This kid #1 on Indiana is really good. Probably not as good as our #1, but he's a star in the making.

I thought this game was going to be a grind-it-out type of game. Sure, Thompson and Johnson raise IU’s defense level a lot, but the most encouraging thing for me today is that our offense has improved dramatically

Beran doing a lot better not getting stuffed at the rim today. Is he beginning to believe he can do more than shoot the three? That would be huge for this team.

I really liked getting Robbie into the flow early. And, as others have said before Matt needs to get even stronger around the rim. But, boy when he rolls, he can be a force.

No one said he is “the problem”. He is huge today for us. It’s just hard to deny - he still has room to improve his decision making.

He’s winning the game for us. Leads all scorers with 25 pts on 10/18 shooting. What more do you want? 2 assists and 2 turnovers, so I guess that could be better.

He makes some brilliant plays, but then tries to double into two defenders and turns it over. When he plays well he is one of the best guards in the league.

Might have missed something, but I remember him taking 1 Ill-advised shot all game. A first-half quick contested 3, from the top, without anyone else touching the ball. Should not have taken it. Sure. But so what. Big deal.

I watched the entire thing on YouTube TV. I just looked up FS1 and it was there.

Clutch at the end 4fts by Audige and Boo hitting one to seal it. IU was throwing up some ridiculous haynakers at the end in any normal scenario we win that game by 10 but I'll take the 1 pt win and be thankful.🙏
