Game thread for Penn State at Northwestern

We let them hang around and this is what we get. They have been making some unreal shots though.
They finally changed. If you were at the game, you could see he was faster than anyone they had and was bigger. Then, we switch. Should have done it all game.
If we lose, Coach Collins lost that game . Your coach sucks and should be fired. His on game coaching is terrible.
Lundy and Pickett are both having career games and making unreal off-balance shots late in the shot clock. This sucks.
I thought this week was called Wildcat Wellness. I am unwell after watching this moist garbage.
We went up 10 and then they hit every garbage shot they put up. Well-defended garbage shots at that. I swear it’s like we never catch a break.
I can’t remember a more disheartening loss.
But, give Penn State credit. They made shots. Whoever thinks we have more talent - I’m still not buying it. It just seems that raw talent takes over in close games, even more so than experience.

Nance needed to absolutely blast Lundy into the stands on that breakaway. Hammer. Him. No weak fouling.
Chokers. Even if they would have called the foul on the last second Audige three pointer, I have zero confidence he would have made all three free throws.
This is not having winners. Screw talent. Nance is the best player on the court but he doesn’t take over the game. This script has gone on for 4 years. If we could Unretire McIntyre and then we may win. This is just absolutely maddening. WE SHOULD NEVER LOSE TO PENN STATE IN BASKETBALL!! EVER

No way around it,this is a devastating loss.You cannot lose this game if you want to have a good season.They just cannot close out a game.Are we looking at another long losing streak in the Big.I don't call for a change in coaching lightly but if this season goes down the drain the new AD will have a big decision to make in the off season.Enough is enough.You have to win these games and we fall short almost every time.
Asked why he basically played the same lineup over the last ~8 mins while his team got outscored CC says “those are our guys”…

Stop. Collins is a bad coach. During their run, he never called time out. As I pointed out earlier, we never got the ball to Nance when he was bigger and quicker than what they had. We finally switch and Pete gets two baskets.
Not sure I’ve seen a team that misses more layups, bunnies, and dunks than NU the last 2-3 years.
Went to the game.

Nobody there.
Only cheering was the Penn State bench.
Young sat for the last 8 minutes I think.

Audige was clearly hobbled with something, yet he was out there struggling.
Collins tried to go with Young and Nance and our offense was literally a catastrophe - we made no attempt to get the ball inside, nobody was even down in the blocks, guards had no idea what to do.
I swear we had no game plan whatsoever.
And the refs hammered us with BS calls.
It was bad.
