It’s great to score 51. It’s great to be up by 36. It’s great Lehigh only scored 15.
But, for me, the greatest thing in this first half was our attitude on defense from the first possession.
Often games like this become cold, unemotional affairs, just going through the motions for most of the first half.
Not for us tonight. Our guys were fired up from the start like they were about to play Purdue in front of a sell out crowd.

Amazingly Ty berry who we expect to be one of our best players is scoreless and we're still up by 37 points
Ty sat most of the first half.
I expect the score to narrow a bit as Collins is playing the B team and might leave them in a lot of minutes.

He made a three, but point still stands. They didn't need him. Or Barnhizer. Or Boo.
Fitzmorris gets onto the court, misses a bunny and a hard shot, blocks the snot out of a shot. Moves well.
Barkley set up beautifully for an open three. Would've been nice to see it drop, but not much to complain about. Fitzmorris looks like his defense is ahead of his offense, but at least he isn't afraid to shoot. I'm guessing Collins is telling him he should be.
Never seen that before… Collins called timeout when 7ft fitzmorris started lining up a 3 pt shot. 
I was pretty impressed with Windham. He played a lot of minutes, and had maybe one turnover.
Mullins had 9 rebounds. He was very active on defense.

When Ciarvino went dumb freshman YMCA pickup ball hero with a dumb dribble drive during mop up time, I could hear Collins yelling before the play was even done. He pointed to the end of the bench like an AKC dog trainer and Angelo had a seat.

There were certainly a lot of 44 jerseys in the crowd...local kid, so not surprising, but man, that it is one supportive family.
