Heart and toughness are not stats that can be measured. The last two years NU hoops has shown the have some big stones. Hopefully that is the identity going forward and the program continues to grow

Aside from everything else, they took the lead at 15-14 and never lost it again. They got it up to 10 points once, but otherwise it was generally like 5-7 points for most of it, and then they made the plays they need to make to make sure Maryland didn't get closer (44-42 and I think 60-57 were scary though).

Man, after Maryland’s 8-0 run to drop the lead from 11 to 3 i was getting nervous. But not these Cats! They kept it together and came out with a huge win!

I got nervous too, not gonna lie, but am so impressed by the leaders Boo and Barney who just refused to let Maryland come back. The other guys really stepped up, obviously N-Mart, Big Matt, young Blake… Hunger also made some plays. What a great team effort.
