In this era of the portal and NIL, I have no problem with being able to cut guys from season to season. It's minor league basketball now, so it should be treated that way.
Definitely. Year to year on both sides.

Page with a zero stat line other than 1 assist(and 2 turnovers and 1 foul). Concerning that some guys seem to be regressing.
It’s really really frustrating because he has more talent than anyone of the roster. He has absolutely no clue in defense and doesn’t use his size well. I don’t think he would be bad at all as a bench piece but like most everyone else, he has no consistency at all.

Yep. We completely whiffed in the portal last year. Add that to the residual effects of the Gragg ultimatum, and you get 0-7 (and counting).
Disagree. We got 3 useable pieces in the portal. All 3 are terribly inconsistent and have to play too big of a role on this team. Reid is a bench piece that potentially gets hot. Green is really really steaky. Since we have zero three point shooting, you have to keep throwing him out there and hope he finds it. AP was horrible today, pretty much useless, but let’s not forget that he’s put up double digits plenty of time.

These guys are probably a 5-7 player on a decent team. on NU, they are 2-5. Coming into this year we expected to get Much more out of Gelo and KJ. Even Clayton. I don’t even remember seeing Mullins at all. That’s 4 guys that if I said got 20 points between them, we would be disappointed. Unfortunately, they aren’t contributing much or in some cases anything at all.

Blame the transfers if you want, but this is pretty much a disaster all the way around.

Obviously, something isn’t right with this team. We have 2 guys(Windham, and Mullins), who were big contributors last season, that just played zero minutes combined in game 18. Those guys were expected to be big pieces this year. Regardless of the reasons they’re seeing no time on the floor, it’s a big whiff by them/the staff/whomever and nobody seems to be able to figure out who can play and who can’t other than Martinelli. Guys aren’t getting better.

This is what I’m seeing. I don’t remember a Collins team going this late with no idea who can play any given game. It’s totally random. Nothing is working.

Because he can shoot!! The best shooter on the team.
You need to have Martinelli, Reed and Green on the floor as much as possible. The teams the cats are playing are loaded with shooters.
Agreed I would play Green a lot more. He will get better just needs more experience and confidence. Look at how much better West has gotten with additional run. Green gives our offense a needed dimension. His defense is getting better and certainly not cause to bench him based on others who are playing.

He is not a reliable shooter at all and the rest of his game is not very strong. He got taken inside twice by a guy about 4 inches smaller than him. It was frustrating to watch.

Yes he can shoot, but he needs to make a few when they mean something. 36% FG% doesn’t cut it from your shooter.

wrong. great 3 point shooter. CC has not given him meaningful minutes. If he doesn’t play more the rest of the year, he’ll leave after this season.

He can shoot? He’s shooting 32% this year from 3 and 36% overall. If he’s a good shooter why doesn’t he shoot good?
