Northwestern (12-10, 3-8 Big Ten) hosts USC (13-8, 5-5 Big Ten) tonight at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The game is set for an 8 pm CT tip and will air on BTN.

Seems like they're telling Berry to shoot/do more already. So far he's been more than just a spot-up shooter (though that three was nice).

Jello with two early freshmen mistakes, gets yanked, Mullins comes in and hits a contested three.

Great rebounding especially offensive rebounds. USC turning over the ball a lot. Unfortunately we're one for our last 13 from the field otherwise we would be up by double figures at least

On the boards - Cats lead 19 to 7 (was 16 to 2) with 11 offensive boards (including all four of Martinelli's boards). Sure, a lot of them came on one possession, but still, they're hustling for the ball. Love to see it.

Mullins should never have the ball with less than five to go on the shot clock, but fortunately it ended up in Leach's hands for a last-second flip-in.

Martinelli's last field goal was beautifully ugly. I'm not sure how many steps he took.

Too bad they didn’t get called for shoving Berry down on that rebound. The half should have been Ty shooting one and one, not a basket for them.

Can I just comment about how much I hate the Jennifer Coolidge commercial where she's stuck in the 1980s? I liked her in the Chris Guest movies, but good lord is she over-exposed now.

I think they said his previous career high was like 5 Points and he's got something like 15. Hardly missed the shot. Without him we'd be up by 20

I don’t understand how that was a foul on Leach when the guy stepped into him and bent himself over trying to establish position Leach already occupied.

What am I missing?

I don’t think so, in times past when he gets the ball at the arc he has had the deer in headlights look. Like Angelo recently.
