I don’t think we’re fine either. Stone is completing passes because Western obviously has no pass rush. We shouldn’t get stopped on those one yard tries. Hard to assess our defensive effort because Western has no athletes on offense.

Doubt it but stranger things have happened. I think O’Boyle is a downgrade vs. Anderson. At least Anderson could recruit. And Lujan doesn’t seem to have a QB run play in his playbook, not even a basic QB sneak.

Agreed with that too, but ultimately he was trying to basket catch it and the ball only deflected a tiny bit and went right through the basket. His body control is pretty poor to the ball in the air.

He probably will get top 10 receptions because he's gonna get an incredible number of targets and he may crack the top 10 in yards as a result, even with a poor A/C, but actually top 10, don't make me laugh. People say this **** and it makes me think they don't even watch other games and the talent on those teams.

A very nice improvement over the last game. I almost was going to give up hope. I wish we didn't have to play the Ducks so early in the season. It would have been nice to get a few victories in before we play the big boys!

Himon is better than Komo, but he also isn't an every down player. He's a complimentary back and gadget type weapon. Get him some complimentary carries and find opportunities to use him in space in the passing game or with other concepts. He's just not an every down back.

I would think you have to limit his carries between tackles. Need to get him space more often.
