I am 100% sincere in this…. What does Williams bring us over Garrison or Carr at the 5? He looks like he plays at about 65% all the time, watches SO MANY balls he seems like he could grab or alter, and isn’t that good on offense.
8 offensive rebounds for Brown is a joke.
12-pt halftime lead is misleading. UK would easily be losing to a good team at this half. Florida would have run them out of the building.

Defense has been good. Gotta rebound the damn ball, they would have about 17 if we could rebound. Kansas scored 20 in the first half…
That was hard to watch. Hope these guys figure out how to play together and with effort. They just don’t look cohesive.
He has no awareness, needs to watch Oscar play. He doesn’t anticipate where the ball will bounce at all.
Amari's goofy *** didn't even jump for that rebound...leading to a 2nd chance bucket for them.

Rebounding is ridiculous. Williams doesn’t jump the majority of the time and only goes after balls with one hand. To be out-rebounded by 11 is ridiculous.
Brown plays hard - strong effort on defense and boards. I don’t think they’re as awful as some are saying. And we’ve started slow most of the season. Up 12 at half, same as Kansas.
Let’s see how second half goes before getting carried away. Hang 50 in the 2nd half and win by 25+, that’s a nice result. Let them back in it and struggle to the end, different story.

1st half not very exciting so far and rebounding is pitiful. Got to do better than this.

I don’t know what he can do about rebounding. Rebounding translates all levels. A guy can rebound or he can’t.
We don’t have even one strong rebounder on the team.
KU was up 11 on Brown at the half then wore them down in the second. Same situation here.
Not good. This team just isnt fun to watch. Even last years team, the prior year teams.. for all their warts and for all the coaching mishaps, it was enjoyable to see. This feels like watching BCG team, I'm sorry.
Their technique is bad too though. Watch Williams and Garrison routinely go after the ball with one hand while attempting to hold off their guy. They rarely release and go get the ball. Very passive combined with poor technique.
Seth Greenberg is a ACC homer and he's made that his golden boy Calipari isn't at Kentucky.

Williams avg about 9 rebs for 20 mins a game is pretty good, problem is for every rebound he gets he follows it with something negative. Lol
Feels like we have about the same number of long scoring droughts as Cal's teams did.
I don't know what happened after Gonzaga, but something happened. And I'm not sold that it's the absence of Kerr. Everyone seems bored or just flat.

They're not even trying to run the offense. You can run the offense and look bored. Now they get the ball and just stand there, and the rest of the guys just stand there. Not really as bad as I'm saying, but no cuts, but the movement just isn't there. That's something that falls on Pope. No reason for them to not run what they were taught unless he either told them to not do it (he's mentioned it in post-game interviews that they're not buying into the system), or he's not enforcing it.
