Piss poor defensive plan for this game. Crap dude we had a week to game plan and it looks like we just found out we were playing at 230 today. Disappointed in the entire team all the way from the coaching effort to the players effort

Missed TEN layups TEN - I got news for you - it’s called growing a pair of nuts and taking it to the basket and making the other guy make a play instead of letting him intimidate you into missing
So our tradition of making lower seeded teams look great will remain intact.
Oregon has longer athletes that played disciplined. They didn’t go for pump fakes. That was our kryptonite this year guys. Bigger, longer teams that walled up and didn’t go for pump fakes. Growing a pair is not going to make you 3 inches taller. We know what we need to recruit now. Also, CMB is a smaller post. He is going to have to get a jump shot or he will have more days like today and Auburn last week. Oh well, I picked against us for the above reasons, so my bracket is intact.
I admit…I’m a tad emotional right now, but 26 wins is a great year in the SEC. In 4-5 games we were exposed as frauds, but a great year NTL.
Yes, definitely too much for us inside. I was surprised our guards got pushed around. There are a lot of centers and PF’s in the portal. I guess LP will now have time to go looking.
LP managed to turn nothing into something and has built a nice foundation going forward.
It was a good, productive year.
I guess we will see. Martin had years to recruit and build but only had the one , great team. LP built something out of nothing this year. Based on the style he wants to play, we have to get depth inside. The recruiting looks good going forward but no real big guys coming back next year.
It’s real simple. He has to develop Josh Gray as more of an offensive threat because he helps us big time defensively. BJ cannot compete with tall athletic teams. Gray helps when we’re playing teams like that from a rebounding and defensive standpoint. We need a rim protector/scorer. All the teams that are going to make it to the final four have those kind of players.
I thank BJ cause he helped start something and was invaluable in numerous games. But we needed rebounds and defensive ability against big tall guys tonight and we were not good enough.
Sucks we were beat the second time this year by a former player who went off.

Didn’t ESPN put together statistics of how, in the last few years, the 11 seed actually has a better winning percentage over the 6 seed? Doesn’t that shine a bad light on the seeding process? Because that’s not madness or even an upset anymore when the lower seed is winning the majority of the time. Just an observation, not that it really had anything to do with our game.
It looked about like a 4/13 matchup, with us obviously being the 13. Utterly non-competitive. After whining for respect all season, we proceeded to take a dump on the court with the eyes of the nation on us.
