Great game. I just do not understand Gabriel and Lebby, not checking out of a 7 man front. Twice we ran the ball against a stacked box.

I don't get the Lebby bashing. I thought he called a great game. You have to try to run the ball, even against a terrific run defense. If you can't run at least a little, you can't win. And it paid off in the long run. I honestly thought it was Lebby's best game as OU OC. That was a great defense we faced, and we scored 34 points. When Texas scored 34 on Bama, all the national scribes could talk about was how great they were. Now Bama is looking pretty salty.

I really hope that the problems Williams is dealing with can be gone in 10 days. Apparently we lost an OL for the season.

When you look at OUr freshman, we have some genuine studs. Some are redshirts; some are real freshmen. We have two really good ones, that weren't here in the spring.
Nic Anderson
Kip Lewis
Jaquaize Pettaway
Jackson Arnold
Peyton Bowen
Cayden Green if he can learn to pass block (and the plays)
and
AJ Adeabwore

I think there are three All Americans in that group. At least.

I wept a bit at the end of that game, and prayed a prayer of thanks. Today was as good as I've felt after a RRR game since 2000. Hmmm, that year we won a natty with an underrated left-handed quarterback, and a group of underrated receivers, at least before the season began.

I was at a birthday party watching the game on my phone. When DG threw that TD pass with 15 seconds to go I think I scared the hell out of my grandson and my son in laws father. You ever hear how loud stomping on an old wooded floor sounds. Couldn’t help myself. BTW that goal line stand was legendary.

What a great RRR game and a great win. I don’t think V will allow this win to go to the kids head and get over confident.

Watched USC get lucky against Arizona in triple OT. DG is playing great football and I am very thankful he is a Sooner, but just think if Williams had stayed at OU. With the way the defense is playing, OU would probably be a top 4 team and a shoe-in for a playoff spot.
Not saying that cant happen with DG, cause this team has something special.

I think everyone in Orlando heard me after that pass. I was out by the Pool watching the game on my bros patio. What a day!

Picture of the game below, IMO. UT's stud TE Sanders came out muscle flexing out of the tunnel with the flag...only to later alligator a sure touchdown and get clocked by Bowman at the goal line which helped set the dogfight mood early, which was indicative of how much the pregame BS talk was just that (someone on ESPN - dimwit Matt Berry? - asked Desmond Howard if this was going to be a blowout) . Sanders finished with 1 catch. Anywho, the second pick, with Bowman over the crumpled Sanders.
