I noticed that. Baker better get healthy quick. Tavin is starting to look like a future star right now. The best catch all night was the one he caught out of the back of the end zone. Shame it didn't count because that was a tough one hand grab of a ball that was thrown with some zip.
They won 9 games laat year. Don't know what their D was rated but they couldn't have been too bad if they won 9.
Southern Miss lost 3 OLinemen and their offensive coordinator. They lost their top running back and 3 of their top five receivers, but even knowing that, I had no confidence in Kentucky. I'll be very happy to be wrong. Looks like I'm not winning the prediction contest.
O-Line playing well, give them some credit, QB has time.

Jordan Jones is a fast dude at WLB....I think he'll give us a wy better performance than what we got from Khalid Henderson and Flannigan.

Could eat crow but I've called a blowout from the beginning. Easy money for those who got it at 6.5 and definitely easier than 3.5.

Those would be great numbers for a first half. Considering it was the first quarter is downright impressive.

Pass rush and overall speed on defense looks night and day better over last year. Southern Miss or not, we didn't look like that on defense almost ever last year.
I know it's early but I like our team. Think this offense has it figured out and the defense is playing with a chip on their shoulder. Both sides playing physical. Think we may surprise some folks this year if we can stay healthy.
I like that we haven't had to call a timeout after already getting a delay of game on offense.
