There’s a real chance we played the 2nd best ACC team last night. Doubt Clemson is any worse than 3rd. Not that I’m happy with the performance but context matters and so far this year context tells me we had the 1st or 2nd most difficult matchup of any SEC team in this challenge. At Duke I think is harder but Auburn is also just better than we are.

I’m watching all of these games, and literally none of them are nearly as whistle-happy as ours was last night. It’s ******* ridiculous.

Played an NCAAT team on the road and lost. It happens. We won’t be the last top five ranked team to put up a night like that this year. The important thing is what Pope, his staff, and his players take away from the experience.

Quoting myself. Didn’t think I’d have a chance to do this within 24 hours of our loss, but Creighton is trying to back me up.

We gotta get better but road losses to solid teams are normal and one doesn’t freak me out.

It may sound like an exaggeration this early in the year, but this is pretty close to a season saving win for Creighton. They had underachieved relative to expectations before tonight, but a dominant win over Kansas will boost the resume quite a bit assuming they hold their own in Big East play.
