I’m afraid that’s about as good as it’s gonna get from jav. We, fans, need to realize that.
If I told you RJ was going to have 30 points, 5 boards, and 7 assist before the game with no Zion you wouldn't be shocked, excited and impressed but not shocked.
If I told you AOC would have 20 points, 5 boards, 1 assist and 1 steal before the game, you would have a hard time believing it.

Yeah, and the thing is that’s ok. The problem is, he hasn’t always even given us that.
The remainder of the season, if Ques can play like he has been, Alex steps up and becomes a bench scorer in the mold of Dre Dawk or Marty Clark, and one of Jack or Joey adds 5-10 more solid minutes on the boards and as shooter, the rest will take care of itself.
RJ was the best player, it’s not debatable. We aren’t even in the game without him. Elite performance. But it’s kind of relatable to giving the JG the Louisville game ball. Zion had a big double-double, Cam’s hot hand during the comeback, arguably Tre played the same tough D as JG. — But we gave it to Jordan for being the unexpected spark plug.
I think I speak for everyone who voted for Alex by saying this. We all agree that RJ was the MVP but we voted Alex because it’s important to recognize a breakout game and career high.

Yes, I know, that's why I said earlier that Jav played better than he had in over a month. If Jav plays like he did vs 'Cuse I don't understand how anybody could be upset. He did his job and did it well.

Thanks Dirt, what The GOAT did between late Wed nite and game time Saturday is amazing in my opinion.He had to deal and do a team makeover in the wake of Zion's loss. Made the decion to let the leash off Alex, bench Jack, burn Joey's redshirt and start Javin in Bolden's place.
Don't forget he had Nike swooping in to visit the shoe situation on Thursday, plus diffuse all the talk about Zion possibly sitting out the rest of the year. I say Bravo K. I know we get on K sometimes here (I am guilty) but this man's ability to adjust is amazing. Hes a treasure to say the least and we as Duke fans are so fortunate to have him!!!
