Our lineups over more than a decade now usually have a couple of guys that probably should be sniffing playing time. That has morphed into an entire roster if you ask me. Unfreaking believable now to think we were once a premier program. These current coaches have totally failed at navigating the portal and putting together a team that can play in the SEC. That is the difference in now and the past. In the past, we usually have enough talent to overcome our coaching deficiencies from time to time but I just don't see it now.

Never mind. They changed the format where every team gets in now. It used to be the two worst SEC teams didn't make Hoover. Which would have been us last year.
OMFG!! Watching the UNCC game. Just gave up a grand slam to put Charlotte college up 9-5. This team gave up like 5 walks and a dropped pop up by Shortstop in 5th inning!! This team is hideous!!
Worst I’ve seen in my lifetime, that’s for sure. And it’s not even close to be honest.
If we get swept this weekend vs Arkansas, Donati needs to step in and dismiss PM. The pressure will only increase the longer this goes on. This is such a shame to see this program decline as it has since Tanner left.
Not only are they BAD, Lack of even effort it seems is all over the squad.... effort not there, looks like they think they can just show up and win, to lose to Queens, charlotte college, Northern Ky tech, etc etc. This team will have a Losing record this yera!! Unheard of from a Program that was Back to Back National Champions and were hearing the word Dynasty thrown around!! They should just Quit the season and save money... The attendance will be ONLY from season ticket holders that already paid their $$
Yep. And the losing overall record is going to start in the next week-still early in the season. Unreal. Midweek games are for padding your record for solid programs. Clearly not us anymore.
We have to be about the 4th or 5th best team in our state now. Clemson and The Citadel are ahead. Coastal is ahead. Winthrop and Wofford too?
Not only is losing midweek games UNACCEPTABLE, they are losing aginst midweek team's "midweek" 4th or 5th best pitchers!!
I am guessing there are some High Scholl programs that would beat this squad!! Hell that is all Queen's College basically is..

I saw they claimed over 5,000 in attendance. Or maybe it was 3,000. Either way it was obvious the numbers were inflated.
I believe those figures are usually the number of tickets distributed.
We were a laughingstock on X last night. Photos of the game attendance were going viral. If you count fans, players, coaches, stadium workers, etc, there might have been 300 bodies in the stadium.
I think you accidentally put an extra zero on the figure you reported.
"charlotte college" = UNCC..
Whether or not Mainieri is terminated now or at season's end, IMO, it will be publicized as a "resignation."
Perhaps the only "acceptable" midweek loss would be vs UnCarolina in Charlotte.
