Very interested to see how this player from the lower division plays out. So far we’ve had success with transfers above his level. We had another back from Stratford. One Harold Green who was outstanding. Sparky’s days I believe.

Wow. The Newberry Indians now the wolves of course. That's where I grew up before finishing school and moving to upstate for work.

Kid suppposedly had grade issues that kept him out of bigger schools out of HS. Jaylon Foster came from Gardner Webb which is even smaller than Newberry. People on this board were dogging our coaches saying other teams get transfers from P5 schools and we get them from Gardner Webb. Those people will act like they never said it now though.

He became an All American. I will not question signees like this cause three years of weights, weight training, and growth is so valuable.

Sort of hard to get excited about a transfer from a D2 school. If grades were really the issue coming out of HS there are loads of FCS schools that would have taken him.

Hope for the best I guess.

same prototype as Harris, Lloyd, and Smith. Small and strong. Hey, I live in KC and have enjoyed the heck out of watching Clyde Edwards Helaire. that dude is 5'7". This kid looks strong in his tapes. Not 75 yard runs untouched but him running through a few guys to get tough yards. Good balance
