Youngblood and Hubbard are putting on a show. I’d love to try to get one of them to transfer here.
i know it. youngblood’s three late in our game was a killer. i feel better knowing he’s just for real. if his feet are set it’s likely going in.
Hubbard now has 36. Now 38, he’s doing whatever he can to win this game. Best performance I’ve seen this year.

they only shoot 3’s and layups. sounds easy, but their system just works. sears had a couple floaters but that’s it. they’re 15-31 from 3. that will work every time.
no one in the sec can stop their offense and come tourney time they’ll score 50 against pitt.
They won’t go on another run though. They don’t defend anybody. So they won’t catch lightning in a bottle twice
MSU gifted an open layup for the lead after Bama missed 3 straight free throws.

hubbard deserved a chance there. his team **** the bed on him the last minute. missed a one inch shot, didn’t block out, lazy hand off. they also should have taken a time out.

Their defence is like that because they beat the bad teams and give up a bunch of points to good teams. Bama’s defense is hope cliff blocks it or the other team just misses
If hubbard played like today against us, we would be blown out.

Hubbard is a slightly inefficient volume scorer on average (39% from the field and 36% from three on the year), but when he gets in the zone like he did tonight or against us last year, it pretty much doesn’t even matter how you guard him. He hit some crazy shots, and Alabama was lucky to get out of there with a win tonight.
Had an easy dunk to give them the lead in the closing seconds and instead blows the layup. That is horrible. If that happened with one of our guys, this board would have imploded.
Do not think he will transfer

This kid is a winning player, other players in MSU are burden on him
I don't want to give UConn anything but I would like to see them beat Marquette Sat to help us move up.
Alabama is good but damn they are lucky. Everybody on their team seemed to be hitting threes. Hubbard didn’t have a lot of help scoring for state, they had two good chance in the last 30 seconds and did choke the game away. Missed a lay up and then dribbled it out of bounds, Hubbard should have touched the ball but didn’t.
Bama's defense last year was worse than ours this season and they made a run to the Final Four.
This year, Bama is probably slightly worse on O than they were last year, but they more than make up for it in improved defending. Omoruyi was a big addition to their roster and has helped transform their interior defense.
I would not be totally surprised if he decided to transfer. Like you said the other players are a burden to him. Unless they bring in a couple of more good players I can't see them doing anything great. I say make that 2 to 3 million dollar offer and make him say no.
We'll knock them down a peg and make them a a victim of a 4 game win streak going into our rematch against UT at Rupp.
At 7-3 in conference and 8 win quad 1 wins, high seed hype would be revived, and we'd start to convince ourselves we are contenders lol.
this is why we need butler. one ninja guard can eff up your whole team. they could not keep hubbard out of the lane. then he’s hitting tough off balance threes. there’s not much you can do with that.
