ITS GAMEDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Tulsa Men start the season off against Oklahoma Christian. This is the kickoff to College basketball season so there is a large slate of games today. As always my posts will be for that game and all of the days until the next game unless there is an unusually large amount of games or something special going on. Until we co to Palm Springs, the games with UNI and Loyola Chicago will be separated from the rest of the list depending on who we end up playing I will start including them in the rotation.

I work for the government and since we are on furlough, I am the only person working in my office so this one will be quick

Yep an Evangelical college in Houston Texas. They are in the NCCAA. National Christian College Athletic Association or something like that.

Rice is cooking the Biblical Studies 65-18 at halftime
Missouri Southern is up on Missouri State 43-40 at halftime
UNC Greensboro is up on Kansas State at halftime 34-33
OSU up on ORU at halftime 50-46

I just noticed this but the College of Biblical Studies is playing Rice right now and has UTSA tomorrow. Getting pummeled in back to back nights. lol

Nice recovery by Missouri St, but the final score in New Mexico St doesn't bode very well for New Mexico St improving on recent trends for their team's quality. ORU didn't show much in their game against OSU to show improvement of their level of quality either.

Didn’t understand the ORU game plan. I know they want to play fast but playing fast against a team with superior athletes makes zero sense. Suppose the thinking is to get ready for conference since that’s all that matters for ORU

ORU is hot garbage. I watched the beginning of that game. The graphic ESPN+ showed for ORU was "18 new players and coaches". They like to chuck up a lot of 3s and they look like a bad C-league intramural team doing so....so many bricks. Bet OSU wish they would have saved all the bricks...they could have built a new building on campus with them. So many shots from all ranges that didn't hit iron. More backboard only shots than I've seen in a long time and then a lot of airballs as well.

I say all this to conclude they will have their best shooting night of the last 2 years against us when they play us.
