I think what many people don't understand is that most small investors are not investing in Game Stop to MAKE MONEY but to lose it. So that unscrupulous hedge funds get destroyed for profiting off of other people's losses while thinking they're not risking anything themselves.
While I am sure there are some that don't get it, and others that are selling early to make a (hopefully much needed) profit, the vast majority of retail investors know full well what they will be losing money. And they don't care.
It's absolutely glorious.
