Come on, there really should be one. It's the NCAA Tournament! Chance for the program's first win in the Big Dance since 1993.

Cats up 30-26 at halftime. Lindsey Pulliam basically single-handedly willed them back into the lead. She's 5 of 8 for 13 points.

We knew it was going to be a defensive battle. The announcers put it well: It's an offensive victory to even get a shot off.

I thought the refs were terrible and it's nice that we're winning despite them.

Seriously. Pulliam is on fire today. She needs to look for her shot every time she touches the ball. Inside looks aren't really working.

We were sluggish for a while, but Pulliam has had The Game. Gotta finish and (given the chance) get ready to deliver a much better performance in round 2.

Burton just getting completely hosed by the refs. Fouled out.

Hope the Cats survive this run here and she gets a chance to take out her frustration in the next round.

CATS WIN!

I frankly know nothing about Louisville but if Pulliam plays like she did today and Burton doesn't foul out for the first time all season and shoots better than 1-for-7, maybe we have a chance.

I don't see how they can progressed very far since their front-line players are not very tall and not that capable. Shaw missed at least three layups.

Raise your hand if you went to both games in 1993 (raises hand). That game at Tennessee was an absolute massacre (though not as big of a massacre as our first-round win). There were a lot of good players on that team, including Trish Babcock and the Kennelly sisters. Nice to see them back in the win column today.

Agree that lack of size really hurts us. We were badly beaten on the boards. Shaw, however, had a very good game. She was our second leading scorer with 12 points on 5 for 9 shooting, with 4 rebounds, an assist, and 3 blocks.
